I generally am not the person that does Reviews good nor bad, but we have lived in this area for years and we love the food at chili’s, but the service generally always falls short. We have continued to be a patron of this business even when paper was found in my chicken tender batter with my triple dipper, to the countless amounts of times our order has not been right. Today we just had to leave. My husband and my kids was seated at a table that had ants and they requested to be moved to another table. I arrived a couple of minutes later and a family was seated behind us and we noticed they were receiving there food (appetizer’s and drinks) and we only had received our drinks with no straws might I add and no one had taken our orders. I could have caused a scene or had an attitude, but I politely went up to the hostess area to see who was our waiter and let them know what occurred. The young lady was very nice and she went to get a gentleman from the back and he came out and stated that the table behind us had been on a waiting list, but they just went ahead and seated us. I was continuing to explain that we have not had a server come to our table and his words were like I stated…. (Lord thank you for my growth because I don’t fuss or argue with people anymore over situations I can remove myself from). I politely gathered my family of five and we left. The only reason I am writing this review is hopefully for someone to receive a better experience than we have been receiving. We are in a digital age and we react and train based off reviews versus people doing exactly what we should do which is treat people the way you want to be treated. A simple “I’m sorry for your wait ma’am, but we will get someone right over to your table” or when my husband entered say “Yes sir we can seat you and your party, but it will be a little bit of a wait due to….” I don’t think that is nothing that needs to be train that is common courtesy. We need to do...
Read moreI love Chili's… or should I say loved. I went on Super Bowl Sunday with my family and my parents. Chili's burnt my four year old son’s cheeseburger really bad. It looked like a skinny charcoal briquette. Past the edges of the cheese had even burnt black. I sent it back. 30 minutes passed by so I flagged the server down to check on the burger. 20 minutes later I asked the server again. He came back fairly promptly with a manager. The manager told me not to worry they would take the burger off the bill since we didn't receive it and then she walked away before I could get a word in. This truly wasn't acceptable as we came here to eat as a family. I walked in the kitchen to re-speak to the manager. A better dressed manager found me fairly promptly. I told him the situation. He apologized and said he would fix it. 30 minutes later my four year old finally was able to eat. I posted a message on their Facebook and was told to email their corporate office. Months have passed without a response from corporate.
Though I told myself I would never return. In May I gave Chili’s another chance. Big mistake. Multiple tables which arrived after us received their food before us. My kids orders all had fries instead of mashed potatoes. Bar drinks took 15 minutes. My wife’s medium rare steak was cooked well done. We sent the steak back, only to find they put it back on the grill to cook it even longer. It took another 30 minutes on a new steak. The manager did try and handle the situation as best she could and was apologetic the entire time.
Sadly, I have lost my favorite place to bring my family. Chili’s Corporate, as you paid no attention to my families needs, I can only assume you don’t want us back. Do you have any suggestions to an alternative restaurant my...
Read moreMy experience was like this, I haven't eating in Chilis in a long time and everytime I pass by this place it not that busy. My wife and I went last night and was seated promptly. The server was very helpful and nice. I ordered the $6 margarita and my wife ordered a mango tea..she said it was too sweet and order a regular tea and then some water.
This is where the restaurant get two stars. we ordered the appetizer trio: mild boneless wings..good, the egg rolls taste like they was purchased at Sam's club and not fresh and heated up in a microwave. the fried mozzarella was so big and gloub of cheese.. should have left them at cheese sticks. they was way to big. I also ask for some salsa.. it was the worse salsa I ever had, it was like someone open a can of tomato paste and blended it with water..yuck. no onions, cilantro, no southwest taste to it.. just stale ketchup. they would be better off getting pace picante chunky.
my wife and I ordered the fajitas trio. they both came out sizzling hot but I notice that they but so much rice on it, geesh, it was like they was trying to close and gave me and my wife all they had. enough to feed and army. My guacamole had an odd taste to it like it was made 2 days ago.
my total bill with tip was $92.xx I want to say for Chilis to make it they need to revamp their menu with more burritos, bowls, quesadillas, tacos, salads, Lifestyle Bowls, nachos because there are too many mexican grills restaurants with half the price and better fresh food in the area like Casa Fiesta Méxican Grill which my wife and I eaten plenty of time and never spent that much money and had way better food. also the place only had a handful of people. but it was a storm coming may...
