I am sad to write this because I respect the philanthropic activities of Firehouse Subs, and have for years regarding my local outpost ( Trussville, Alabama on Gadsden HWY) to be a reliable and consistent lunch option. I ordered from the WEB site and presented to the store at the correct time, but my order was not on the Rapid Rescue shelf. I was directed to the cashier. I showed him the receipt on my phone and he put the order in to be made. I cant complain about the lost order. This could be completely beyond the local staff's control and they certainly had no problem fixing it. I sat by the window and waited and watched the team as they laughed and joked with each other for what seemed like 30 minutes or more. During that time, they made about three orders. All for customers who walked in after me. When I got my order back to my office and opened the box, I was shocked. Instead of the warm, steamy deliciousness I was expecting, there sat a cold, soggy bun with about two very thin, dry slices of deli meat and a coagulated rubbery slice of cheese. The meat did not even cover the whole bun. One half of the bun was almost empty. There were no condiments at all. It was disappointing and unsatisfying. I only hope my next experience is much better, or this location ill be...
Read moreIf I could give Zero stars, I would. I went to this Firehouse (Trussville) three times in one week. The orders were wrong every time. I went the first time to pick up my daughter’s and her fiancé’s food. They made my daughter’s sandwich all wrong. I Didn’t realize it until I was home. She had to deconstruct everything and add things from our fridge. She called and the manager was rude. The second time, I ordered food and the sandwich didn’t have the items I asked for on it and they put things on that I didn’t want. I called the DM and she said I could get another one, no charge. I went back a couple of days later and they made it again. I checked it, but it still didn’t have any condiments on it , or some veggies. Firehouse is Expensive and Used to be my favorite sandwich shop. But they have messed up our sandwiches the past Ten times. The new manager is extremely rude and I’ll just keep my money. This place needs an overhaul and training to give customers WHAT THEY PAY FOR. ...
Read moreSo although I love Firehouse and have been an avid regular for many years of numerous locations, this is by far the worst one. Hardly ever any meat on my sandwich and the manager is usually rude to me. I get the same exact thing every time I come in. And it’s less and less and less each time I come in. Like I had to actually search for the meat on my sandwich. It’s quite pathetic. I’ve been nothing but friendly and every time they mess my order up I kindly ask them to remake it. I really hope new management can come in and actually make this place decent again.
Edit: The first sandwich was made wrong. It was a Togo order and I got down the road and had to turn around. The second sandwich was COLD AND DRENCHED IN MAYO. The third, the bread was cold but the meat was hot. This is awful customer service: it took 40 damn minutes to finally get my food. If there was another firehouse subs closer I’d never return to this one. And nothing but attitude and tried to argue with me every time it...
