MTV - Marty's Trussville — Restaurant in Trussville

This a tough one to write for me because I liked the Marty’s in bham was excited to try this one. Me and my friend go and we’re both girls and we ended up also bringing another guy. Immediately when we get the door this creepy guy grabs my girl friends hand and wont let go. He finally does and we brush it off as nothing. Finally we get drinks and he comes back. At that point he’s being creepy and really annoying. We keep telling him to leave but he won’t. This is where I’m disappointed in Marty’s. We talked to every woman there (there’s barely any. Now I know why) and they all say he’s been bothering them. Now he’s not leaving us alone so we tell the bartender and he decides to be a jerk about it. I’m guessing that’s his buddy. Tells us WE started this and that he’s not going to do anything about it because he’s just a bartender… not the bouncer. I’ve worked enough places to know that as a bartender when you’re all alone in that joint- you are everything in that building bc there’s no one. He refused to help us and tells us if we don’t like him we should leave- glad you’re ok with allowing one guy (who the whole time hasn’t a bought a single drink) in here to creep on the 4 women you have in this bar. I’ve waited almost a month to leave this review because I’ve tried to think of every scenario where we could’ve done wrong. We were consistently polite to everyone there- we even were trying to be polite to the creep at first. Marty’s was good in bham. This was the best bar we have been to in Alabama. We would like to mention that we love the fact that they ID you at the door! 🖤The atmosphere was welcoming, the vibes were great, and the establishment was LGBTQ+ friendly. They had pool tables, a dartboard board, and karaoke! 🎤 The food was also sooo good. The food here was solid, but the experience was soured by a significant delay. We arrived at 4:30 PM on a Saturday, and the menu clearly states the kitchen opens at 4:00 PM.
