While we found friendly service and good vibes, this italian spot had more misses than hits. When we arrived there was a short 10min wait and the server took down our number to notify us of when our table would be ready. We were seated shortly after and greeted with our welcoming server. She was the sweetest and very attentive throughout the evening. I opted for the Fusilli Alla Roma which comes with chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms, roasted garlic, parmesan cream sauce which was just basic with no flavor. If you like just butter and cream dumped on some pasta then this is your dish. The chicken was also not that good. It had a strange boiled smell to it and the taste was very bland. And they’re really skimpy on the mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes. The bread that came on the side was just your basic white baguette at room temperature, nothing fancy. My husband got the Five Cheese Lasagna with meat sauce and it tasted like something out of a freezer. Not really fresh with minimal flavor. He said he wouldnt recommend getting it. The portions were well sized but for the quality I rather go to Cheesecake Factory since the flavor is a lot better. Overall, not a place I would go out of my way for to get pasta. They do however offer patio seating in addition to indoor seating and are following all of the Covid guidelines with staff wearing face masks and gloves when serving food.

This place is a constant in consistency and quickness. The food and service is always dialed in. Now, some will say that this is not amazing Italian food, others will say that mall food is not good either. But, I disagree. I have been fortunate enough to work at Bridgeport from 2006-20014, and the one place that I would choose to eat at is Pastini. Malls can be packed, long lines, bad service etc etc. If you can give your name with the Host…they will text you when your time is ready. They have one of the best staff teams in the area. Isiah was our guy tonight and he was awesome. He was friendly, gave us great insight on the menu, gave us a chance to make our choice and when it was time to enter the order…the amazing chef team in the kitchen got the food out to us in a flash. They serve a big plate, lots of food, so be ready to take some home. They pasta is perfectly cooked, the sauce and ingredients are flavorful and the drinks are delicious. I highly recommend the Baked Ziti, or the Spaghetti and Meatballs. The Chicken Alfredo is also super good with tender chicken and silky noodles. Im a fan, I like consistency. I also am one to return because of the service and the kitchen staff. Pastini is great at all three.

I am blown away by how good this place was. The ingredients were fabulous and they had vegan-gluten-free options. As someone who is allergic to animal products and gluten, I can appreciate the options from the menu and the willingness of the staff to be accommodating with it. As someone with these allergies, pasta dishes is hard to come by. When you walk into the restaurant, you can notice the quality of the ingredients. All of the pasta smells as if it was made in house. When I was eating my gluten free/vegan noodle, it was smooth (not grainy) with a nice soft texture and wonderful flavor. My fiance loved his pasta and dairy based sauce. We both took one bite and just paused for a moment to enjoy it. I highly recommend eating here. My feedback for the restaurant, add more dairy free sauces to the menu and have a gluten free vegan bread option to go with the pasta. What is on the menu is fabulous and I will be back with or without the additions to the menu.

Like many of the one-star reviews, I have to agree with them and say that customer service is lacking severely and that "The manager(s) needs to brush up on good customer service", be retrained, or be replaced. I came on July 4th late afternoon after placing my order online. At this time, most of the lunch crowd had left, so I felt it would be less stressful. Unfortunately, this was not the case, as I had to wait at the front counter for assistance for almost 10 minutes. Then one of the managers (shaved bald head) came by, totally ignored me and helped everyone else who had come in after me even though I was first and at the counter. He made no eye contact whatsoever or never asked what my name was. I then had to wait longer, until a female staff member came in for her shift. She then went to check and told me it was going to be a bit longer. Needless to say, I was upset at the lack of customer service and asked to speak to a manager. She then told me the bald man was a manager, so I then wanted to speak to someone else. She then sent Max over, and I explained the situation. At first he sounded very apologetic and was willing to listen. Unfortunately, after I asked for some water, since it was hot, he said something to the effect, that "everyone wants to be a winner after a long year of the pandemic". What the hell is that supposed to mean? That what I said to him was a joke? I told him that I only wanted to be treated with respect and not be brushed off when I asked for help. The bald male manager defines the epitome of an arrogant, self-centered, know nothing; Max is slightly better than him, but still very condescending. Both of these "managers" need retraining (diversity) or need to be replaced. If they are short staffed, that is NO excuse to take it out on the customers.

Go somewhere else if you want to be treated with...

My wife and I just had a wonderful dinner at Pastini's. This was one of our favorite places when we used to live nearby, but sadly hadn't been in several years since we moved to the East Coast. Our experience reinforced why it was a favorite (and still is). Our server, Sarah, was exceptional. Wonderful, engaging personality. The food was served quickly and is always consistently prepared and great tasting. But what prompted me to write this review, was the little things. Little things that you might find in fine dining restaurants. For example, when Marissa, the manager, brought our food over she was very careful to not let our silverware touch the table. She placed our forks with one end on the table and the other in our pasta bowls, flipped over to make sure they didn't roll out onto the table. While the tables are kept clean here (and hopefully in all restaurants, but we all know that is not always the case), I never want my silverware coming into contact with the table. I mentioned this to Marissa and she said it was also very important to her and she ensures her staff pay attention to these small details because it is the sum total of these small details that make the experience great (or bad). Later when Sarah served our dessert, I noted how she first placed a fresh napkin on the table before placing the dessert spoons on top of it. Again, the attention to detail that clearly ran through all the staff here. My complements to Marissa for such a great job managing the restaurant and for Sarah for being such a terrific server. Thanks for a...

What appears to be a manager or assistant manager or lead hostess( dirty brown hair, short, glasses , female, Caucasian) of this pastini restaurant located in Bridgeport village mall in tigard oregon exhibits an unfriendly and unprofessional demeanor with customers. I went into this restaurant this evening and witnessed this restaurant manager /assistant manager/lead hostess employees interactions with customers and the customers were cowing in her presence from the interactions with the restaurant manager/assistant, manager or lead hostess- The customers were upset . at my entrance into the restaurant i decided not to interact with the restaurant manager or restaurant assistant manager or hostess because she was not friendly and not professional, so i avoided her and spoke with the other employees. The other employees were approachable but the female either manager assistant manager or lead hostess female is not approachable . The female either manager or assistant manager or lead hostess was ranting threatening verbiage at me and grabbed my arm. When i walked in I witnessed the strange behavior of this restaurant manager or assistant manager or lead hostess so I avoided her all together so it was strange how she picked me to threaten and grab my arm -it was the most strange experience i had ever seen in a restaurant. I have decades and decades of restaurant experience, I have two degrees 1 in general business and the other in...
