Reds Tacos & More — Restaurant in Tucson

I've gotten food here a few times. So far I've only had the carne asada street tacos, and they are absolutely delicious! I love their salsa! It's super flavorful and thick, unlike other places I've been that have salsa that is thin and one dimensional when it comes to flavor. The service is always great, and the wait isn't very long. My only gripe would have to be that I've only been able to get their horchata the first time I visited. I enjoy that it's not too sweet. I'd be surprised if it's not made from scratch. Other than that, this is usually my go to for carne asada tacos. Next time I'll have to switch it up and try...

This may be my new favorite quick Mexican food place. I ordered a pollo asada burrito and a cheese quesadilla. Both were made with great ingredients and well cooked. The best part, though, is that while so many places are serving up crappy tasting watered down flavorless salsa, Red's salsa is excellent! You can taste the garlic,tomatoes and everything else!

The only downsides are that it is located in the mall - very noisy - and that they don't have a drive-thru. Nonetheless, I will be back this week to try a breakfast burrito. Can't wait!
