I was looking forward to their opening. I follow their phoenix location for quite sometime and was excited to see them open a location here locally. We love the location/ area as it’s convenient. Everything is nice and new and has a very clean look. Employees were nice. We enjoyed the music.
Cons: beware, they automatically charge you 18% gratuity (shows up on tour receipt as a service charge) for bills over $200 which is easy as everything is a bit pricey. If that’s their business practice that’s fine, but they need to explain that (this also applies to small parties). Our bill was about $210 and they don’t print a receipt for review/signature. Instead, they walk over with a hand held device to ask you how much you want to tip. I selected 20% and my bill was close to $300 and I couldn’t figure out why. Then I saw a service charge for about $35ish dollars. I inquired about it later in the evening and was then told they automatically charge an 18% tip for bills over $200. After speaking to the manager she refunded my 20%, but can’t imagine how many people double tip since they don’t know. I think they need to communicate this to their customers. Also the food was ok - no great not bad but ok. Also they had and advertised a band, but you had to pay the band for them...

We stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon around 3:45 PM and were surprised it wasn’t busier—though it’s still a fairly new spot (open less than a year), so that’s to be expected. Hopefully, that changes soon because this place deserves to be packed!
The food? Absolutely wonderful. We ordered the Camarones Rellenos, Toritos Especiales (4 pcs), and even a simple cheeseburger with fries—and every single item had its own unique, delicious flavor we just couldn’t put our finger on. We even tried to guess the “secret ingredient,” but the owner made it clear: the magic is in the mystery! And honestly, we respect that.
The atmosphere was quiet but comfortable, with good music playing in the background. You can tell this would be a fun, lively place when the crowd rolls in—especially on weekends.
If you’re craving flavorful Mexican seafood (or just a tasty burger), give this place a try. It’s more than worth it, and we’ll...
Read moreDO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO CAYMANGO on Valencia. Or at least pay attention to your bill if you do. Menu prices will be increased on your bill and when you ask the manger to explain why all the items were more than the menu prices, she will say it’s because of the tax that is included. And then you will ALSO be taxed the regular 8.3% after your subtotal. Then she will say, “So what’s the problem?? You don’t want to pay the $2?” To which I say, “Well technically it’s more than $2 but that is not the point, the point is that you are charging patrons tax twice?!” Manager: “So what do you want to pay then?” Me: “How about the prices in the menu?” She was Rude and condescending. Acting like it was so unheard of to expect to see the prices you see in a menu on your receipt. I have no...
