TLDR - The food is consistently good here. I literally get the same thing for my family every time. Fresh, hot, not greasy burgers. Decent decent-sized chicken tenders. Onion rings are the best. Steamed broccoli! Walleye fish during the season. Cheese curds (better when you eat the hot).
Roommate - Single mushroom and Swiss, add grilled onions, and mayo on both sides of the bread. She likes it every time and says "It hits the spot" for her. She gets the crinkle-cut fries which are always fresh and hot.
Spouse - 4-piece Chicken tenders that he can never finish. They are usually decent size. Not too greasy and they offer barbecue, honey mustard, and buffalo sauces [maybe a couple more). He'd probably eat more but he fills himself with onion rings which we feel are better than most establishments around town.
Me - Double mushroom and Swiss with grilled onions and lately w/o mayo. We always take out and I put plant-based mayo on and change the bread to Ezekiel bread toasted when I get home to cut out the white bread from my diet. Once again, consistently good and NOT super greasy. I order a side of broccoli along with it and it's steamed and delicious every time. You could ask for butter packets if you'd like.
I've had their Walleye fish when it was in season and it was great. You can get mashed potatoes and cheese curds to make a full plate.
I've had the vegetarian burger there and it wasn't off-putting at all. It tasted fresh and was perfectly proportioned.
The service is always decent there. They have a large staff making sure the orders get out as fast as possible. Unlike some other fast food restaurants where only a couple of people are working and the food takes forever.
The only problem I have is that you have to ask for an itemized receipt every time. I like to know what I'm paying for what, to see what prices are going up and how often. Like any restaurant, their prices have gone up, but not absorbantly. It's about $33 for what I order here consistently. It's gone up about $5 over the years especially with the minimum wage going to...
Read moreMy first time at a Culver's. The whole team was so sweet and attentive!! When I came in, I got a great big friendly welcome, and everyone at the counter let me know that they were more than happy to take my order or answer any questions I may have had.
When it came to the famous 'frozen custard' I'd heard about, I had a hard time choosing and everyone was super, super helpful! The girl at the counter walked me through everything and even gave me suggestions that made my order smoother (hard to explain)! Even the guy making the frozen custard blenders... He was more than happy to help, and you could tell that he took great pride in what he did.
I ended up needing to go back for another one and as soon as I walked in, this look of genuine concern (not fear or worry, but genuine concern) flashed across one of the staff member's face. I ordered a second one, and when I tell you, everyone was so sweet and genuinely cared about making me one more frozen custard. It's hard to describe but even the same person making the blend, took just as much pride in making and describing my frozen custard to me when handing it back.
Don't make the same mistake I did - carry cash!!! so you can tip these teenagers that will definitely put a smile on your face as if you're back in the 1950s at your local diner
For my first time at a Culver's and visiting Arizona... I can't tell if it's Arizonan hospitality or just a really wholesome staff. But based on other shops and restaurants I've been to... I have a feeling that it's 100% unique to the really sweet staff that work here.
Phew, never thought I'd rave so much about a fast food location but they really deserve it. (And of course the food was good. With a staff like that, I knew I'd have nothing to...
Read moreMy Husband and I have visited this Culver's Location on multiple occasions. We have always been very satisfied with the quality of the food and the service. This changed on our last visit! First, it was after dark and there were some very Shady Looking Homeless Men hanging around the entrance with their dog. So, We decided to go to the Drive-Thru. Then, at least one of the employees there was more interested in goofing around and having a great time with her fellow employees at work, instead of doing her job!! Providing excellent Customer Service was definitely NOT her priority! Our visit was a Hot Mess!! "Miss Milkshake" made a mistake when we placed our order in the Drive-Thru, then at the window, she dropped my coin change onto the ground. She was not paying attention, and was laughing and talking to another employee at the time. Then, she refused to replace the coins she had dropped. No apology.... Nothing!! When, I again requested my $, she very snarkily replied "Pull forward! I can't give it to you!! I have to cash out the next customer!! Then, "Don't be Rude Lady!!! Seriously? When I arrived home and realized that my order was incorrect. I called to speak to a Manager at this Culver's.location. I was told that a Manager was not working this shift. Then, the Employee that had answered the phone, suddenly became the "Shift Manager" and apparently thought that her very insincere apologies and a snarky attitude were all that was necessary..... Mr. Edward Norton needs to fire "Miss Milkshake" and provide better training for all of his employees. We won't return to this Culver's location!!! Chick - Fil - A is...
