Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Tucson

Ok so listen as for "FREDDY'S" I think there food is great 👍 👌 maybe a little pricey but I think it's worth it and if things would have been different when it comes too the people running this establishment I might give them a 5 star rating. My health is let's say a little poor! And sometimes I can be in the best mood but unfortunately 😕 my body won't be so this makes for mistakes sometimes on my part like leaving a very important note book that had $25 in scratchers that were unscratched as well as a winner in the amount of $40 inside very misfortunate but only due to the fact that once I left the establishment I called and asked to speak with a manager the gentleman that answered the phone put me on hold so he thought unfortunately for him I heard him and the female he was speaking with when I first said yes I just ate there and I unfortunately left something of mine behind is there any way that somebody could go and get it for me or has somebody turned it in by chance? He without hesitating answered me yes someone turned it in. I would like to add that prior to any of this happening while we were ordering our food the young lady that was taking the order of seemed very irritated and aggravated at our way of ordering our meals because we instead of getting sodas swapped them for custard style shakes. 😋 But everyone has a bad day now and then right? Well anyways after the manager gets back on the line... That he didn't realize wasn't on hold and I already heard them and there decision to split it and toss my book presided to apologize but he misunderstood and there wasn't anything turned in nor could they find anything left behind. I wasn't about to argue with him there is no point it was obviously not going to make a difference but I did say you both can keep the scratchers inside I don't care I mean yes I would like them but what's truly needed is the note book that they were inside of that matters to me so please and I was rudely interrupted I'm sorry but there's nothing here and nothing turned in! I said thank you one last thing can I get your name again and I was hung up on. Needless to say I not only will never enjoy there food ever again and just FYI "NO CUSTOM...

lol This place is not capable of making a custom order sandwich correctly. Five out of the last seven times I have come here, they have made a mistake on what should be a very simple order. The lunch crew always seems to get it right.

This evening, I spent 30 minutes in line because they were busy, no problem it is what it is. I got my food and I went home to find out it was wrong. I went back to get it fixed and they were super apologetic, and everything was good until they handed me try #2. I watched the guy make the sandwich, And it was wrong again, and when I told them that, she felt like arguing with me, once again telling me how to order a sandwich differently than the last person had told me. Somehow spicy sauce ended up on both sandwiches this evening, even though nothing spicy was ordered.

After the first couple times, I asked them how to order it so that this doesn’t happen, of course I get different answers each time. Even just saying I only want these four items on the sandwich doesn’t work.

I like the food and the people are usually friendly when they’re not slammed busy.

I have tried and tried, luckily in and out is across the street so I’ll probably just go there. It’s a shame because the food is good, it’s just not worth the frustration. If I’m ever feeling like playing food roulette, I may go back. I’m done Spending $17 to not get...

Hands down I think this is my number 1 burger joint in town. The habit is my second favorite but freddy's just has a flavor that makes their burgers their own.

The prices are great, the atmosphere is amazing (a classic dinner experience), the service is great and the food tastes amazing.

The burgers are large but prepared to perfection. They also have seasonings and sauces unique to them, similar to how raising canes has a signature sauce, freddy's has their own as well.

I highly recommend this place for either a date, or just a great bite to eat. I've taken my wife here many times and it is a really refreshing experience compared to going to a McDonalds or dressing up for a steakhouse. It's a comfortable low pressure environment where you can just sink into your burger and fries. (I dont consider McDonalds a date kinda place, but freddy's is so good that you cant go wrong).

To me, freddy's is the high end and tastier in and out. It is an opinion but if you find yourself near a freddy's and in the mood for a burger or shake, I highly recommend them.

Overall, amazing staff, wonderful atmosphere, delicious food. The only downfall is their limited locations. It might be a little bit of a drive to get there, but if you're already heading by a location that has one near by, I recommend the stop. 7/5 favorite burger...
