Screwbean Brewing — Restaurant in Tucson

I want to love this place, especially as a local who lives nearby & stays in Tucson in the summer, who loves local beer, and wants to come back. But the service has to improve. We were ignored when we walked in (just say hey, welcome in or something) & our beers had to wait while the bartender & her boyfriend (?) at the bar got a food delivery. Bartender reaching over my shoulder to get her uber eats delivery while we stood at the register, without her saying anything (like - hey sorry, just grabbing my dinner), was really rude. Sorry we interrupted your dinner on your paid time at work by trying to get beers at your beer place. :( not the first time we were treated as an inconvenience by this bartender.

If you enjoy being ignored by staff, sipping beer from dirty glasses, and swatting away fruit flies while you wait, you’re in for a treat. The manager is rude, the owner completely disengaged and clearly out of their depth when it comes to running a business. The whole vibe is as unwelcoming as it gets. Prices are way too high for what ur getting. Honestly, I’m still wondering how this place...

Love this place! Their sparkling blueberry basil limeade was to die for. Other people in our group had beer, matcha, and an americano and those were great too. Plus their pastries are yummy.
