The Rock has been the go-to concert venue in Tucson for local bands, underground acts and mainstream musicians for decades now. Since COVID-19, It has been through it's ups and downs, just like many Tucson businesses have. Downtown Tucson as well as 4th Avenue took a huge financial hit and we unfortunately lost some great spots.
Thankfully, this Bar ,Concert Venue and Local Hangout percerviered.
The Rock is gifted with strong leadership, a loyal, hardworking and extremely passionate staff, and now boasts a refreshing remodel that is a welcomed improvement. In addition to concerts and musicial acts, the bar is now open regularly for drinks and hosts special events, outdoor music and food options in the patiol and even rents out the club. They also host karaoke, and club nights.

Read moreSeems like all of the other reviews were based on the bands they saw and not the venue itself. I am here to give an honest review about this place. Terrible. The guards were hanging out outside while the crowd needed to be managed. The sound was comically horrible. I thought it was a joke. Judging by their gear, it cannot be easy to get a great sound, especially in that room, so I will leave the sound engineer out of this. The gear though, appears to have been purchased off of eBay as it's pretty ghetto. I would not return to this venue, even if my favorite of all bands was playing...
Read moreThis place has a big stage, like really big lol they have everything you need here to make a great gig, nice patio and bar area, great PA/monitors, FOH tech was kind and professional, however tucson didnt show up to the Rock this night, for a band traveling from Los Angeles it was disappointing to play for less than a handful of people on a Saturday, we are not sure if the club did their job at promotion but this would be a rad place to play if the room filled out a bit, disappointing for our first time in Tucson, hopefully this venue can find a better method for promotion, we hate traveling to new cities to play for no one, even if we are still getting paid, however dont discount this venue, support live music and your...
