I have been going to the subway (located in Tucson, AZ, on the northwest corner of Broadway and Pantano) nearly every work day, for over 8 years. I am a local dentist/business owner and understand what it takes to run a business and deal with the public on a day to day basis. With that said, this is one of the “best run” restaurants I’ve EVER visited. The employees, in particular, are OUTSTANDING. My favorites are: Katie, Melanie, Stream, Adam, and Kailey. Katie, the manager, is professional, highly intelligent, personable and very organized. I can tell she runs a tight ship, and the other employees respect her for it. I hope the owner knows what they have in this employee, because she would be invaluable to any business. If she were in the dental field, I would hire her in heartbeat. Melanie, another long time employee, is also very intelligent, personable, sweet, VERY good at her job, and an all round hard worker. She’s just one of those people, always with a soft spoken smile, who just brightens my day every time. Stream, sharp as a knife, will fix any problem in a lightning flash. Every time there’s an issue with the register (or whatever), she is there to fix it before you can blink. She is also a very hard working employee and knows her job well. Adam makes a mean sandwich. He remembers what I order every time, right down to the details and does it efficiently and with quality. Super nice guy as well! Kailey (I think I have her name right??) is also VERY smart and good at her job, but I think she’s leaving soon so that’s a total bummer!! Anyway, overall this Subway should be commended. This Subway gets me through every day with not only its AWESOME fresh subs, but with the efficiency and professionalism far and above what you see at most businesses. I wrote this review in gratitude because these people make my life better. Thank you to this Subway for everything you do and keep up...
Read moreThis Subway shop did not take EBT cards like they say that they do so it was kind of a wasted trip. The card machine had been broke for 3 weeks the staff told me. Well maybe that is something the Subway franchise manager needs to have fixed. The Subway restaurant name is put on pamphlets and other advertising stating that it's helping the community by accepting EBT Food cards from economically disadvantaged folks like myself and then when said persons arrive at store they are turned down. That to me is embarrassing as all heck and now I can either leave hungry or pay for the meal with the cash I had put aside for my electric bill. Boo to you Subway. I wanted a 12 inch too and had to get a 6" sub. I asked for honey mustard and got some sauce that tasted tangy like chipotle sauce. I will still eat at this Subway as it is in my neighborhood but I had this one bad experience and I won't give them up...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. I asked the guy to Put a little extra pickles and Parmesan on my subs and he put almost the entire container of both on my sub. It was absolutely disgusting. Then my friend asked him to change his gloves because he touched bacon and she can’t eat bacon and he proceeded to ask why he needed to do that instead of just changing on like he supposed to he had to question her. Or Subway to ever go to and definitely will never go back. Put a little extra pickles and Parmesan on my subs and he put almost the entire container of both on my sub. It was absolutely disgusting.
