We just want to express our gratitude to the exceptional service this casual pizzeria chain exemplifies Every time we visit. From the consistent courtesy to the quality of food and presentation. We have always patronized all of Sam Fox’s exceptional restaurants when they were under his watch, we have watched the decline of North Italia creating unnecessary, ‘spicy’, heart burning, Mexican flare Italian cuisine and Zinburger following the heart attack trend of smash burgers (which should never be done with great quality grass fed cow meat), imagine smashing a perfectly good burger and basically fry saturating it in oils to follow a disgusting hamburger trend. But in Sauce, we find clean fresh ingredients and creative dishes that even make salads exciting to try on rotation! The new manager of the Broadway location, Conner Hyde, remembered us and took time to have great conversation, not only into our feedback but for us personally. When the seasonal conoli prepped as a conoli cookie dip that my Italian husband loved so much was no longer available, he said, “wait! I can get that for you right now”, and we were so elated, we ordered dishes to go as well. Excellent restaurant chain so far is Sauce. We wish Connor the Absolute Best in his Managerial career. He is a Shining Star at Sauce. We love Doughbird and Wildflower too and hope that the last three can keep with Fox’s original intentions. Sauce is doing beautifully. Can you open one in Vail...
Read moreWe went to sauce for lunch. I ordered the pizza and Mac n cheese. To much food for 1 person but couldn't resist trying the Mac n cheese.
My wife ordered the bruschetta. And desert.
Unfortunately a few things didn't go well. We planned on enjoying lunch together. We're hoping this isn't the normal service. They first served me my pizza (we assumed hers on the way) awhile later they served my macaroni. We asked about her meal and they just said bruschetta takes longer n walked off. Even later they brought her dessert. Finally long after mine her meal arrived and was burnt. A lil burnt would have been ok but it had a lot of burnt. I was trying to eat slowly awaiting her food. But my wife said go ahead and eat. Not wanting mine to get cold.
They noticed she ate very lil and asked if she didn't like it. My wife said it's burnt and I would like to have enjoyed lunch with my husband. The girl was nice and apologized. Asked if she wanted anything else. She said no my husband has finished.
As with any review we can't say this is normal service at sauce. We're hoping it's not. Especially serving meals so far apart. A few minutes apart is acceptable but not 15 or more minutes. I would say give it a try for yourself in case we just had a...
Read moreHorrible experience, went with my friend for the first time after reading that their secret is in “the sauce” I mean, the restaurants name is “Sauce Pizza” ordered two lemonades and a mushroom pizza, extremely overpriced but I figured it was worth it, we were given the “pizza” within 5 mins which was surprisingly quickly only after realizing our pizza had no Sauce whatsoever, it had the pie, on top raw mushrooms and arugula, we sat there staring at this “pizza” it felt like we had just been played a prank! If you’re selling pizzas with no sauce on them, even though your motto says the secret is in the sauce and your restaurant name is Sauce, you know you’re lying to your customers and false advertising, add with bold letters in your menu that theres no Sauce on your pizzas Their lemonade was a joke too, I feel bad for all these people reviewing them 5 stars, I don’t know if they are paying them for it or is it just mediocre people that’d never had a real pizza! Better spend your money on cheap microwave pizza than...
