Charleston's Restaurant — Restaurant in Tulsa

I have been coming to this place for over 10 years. Literally. I have never had any problems from what I can remember. But tonight, all of that changed. I came in to eat where the hostess attempted to sit me next to 2 very large parties & I was in a party of 1. Asked to be sat somewhere by myself and less than 10 minutes later they sat some one right behind me. I can literally feel when he moves in his seat directly behind me. The restaurant is fairly empty and I'm by the bar so it's really empty. I sat down, one waitress came and asked for my drink order. A runner brought the drink and quickly ran off. I needed a straw for my drink and proceeded to wait exactly 14 minutes for a waiter to come to my table so that I can ask for one. Because of this I asked for my drink to be refreshed. I'm pretty sure they brought the same one back to the table. When she came (a totally new waitress that the previous 2) I placed my order in fear of having to wait another 15 minutes. I asked for chicken fried CHICKEN. And a salad to come out before my meal. She went away and came back saying that she put the orders in together because the salads take "forever" never heard of that from this place. My salad came out & 5 minutes later so did my meal. My meal by the way was chicken fried steak. The waitress was neat but completely unaware of her surroundings so I had to stop the hostess that was walking by to have her get the waitress. I asked for my correct meal to come out and was brought out the exact, I do mean exact, plate. This time just with the right meat. How do I know? I put pepper on my Mac and cheese which automatically comes without. When the plate was brought out, it was the same mac I had placed pepper on. And the same mashed potatoes I had tasted before. I'm astonished. Mind you, the entire time I was looking to gain the attention of a waitress, playing hide and seek, there were 2 including the night manager, behind the bar laughing and talking with one another.

Update: I talked with the manager. She proceeded to tell me that she personally threw my plate away. I said I noticed how the pepper was still on my macaroni and cheese. She said that the sides may be the same and left on the plate. I explained to her that I've worked in the restaurant business for years and that I know for a fact that you do not keep food that was sent back. No matter if it's going to be remade for the same person. She then tells me that they don't keep the same food (although she JUST said that it was???). All in all, I'm extremely put...

Had a disappointing experience here! First off I want to mention that the martinis we ordered were delicious and by far the best part of the experience. Our waitress was also very friendly. However, most everything else went wrong. Before we even got to the restaurant we attempted to use the website’s online waiting list, but that function was either broken or turned off because it would not let us join, claiming there was no wait time but that was not the case when we arrived. Fortunately the wait was not too long. The main problem was with the food itself. Several items we ordered were not delivered correctly. My mother is gluten free and asked for no croutons on her salad and I asked for gravy on the side with my chicken fried steak but neither of these things were done. My mom just picked her croutons out but I had to wait for a new plate without the gravy. When we finally got to eat, both my wife and I agreed that our completely different dishes were both incredibly over salted. Seriously, it was really bad. When two different people who ordered two different dishes both notice an overpowering taste of salt on the food, you’ve done something wrong. Placed an ordered for curb side pick up. I was the third one in line and followed around to the front. Once up there the lady comes out and says they had an issue with my card. Not sure why but those things happen, so I gave her another card. After waiting 10 minutes and watching 8 or so cars behind me get food and driveway i finally go out and went to the door. A server came out and said they ran the wrong card and trying to fix it. So I assume thst means they got it to go through on both cards. I returned to my car and waited another 5 to 10 minutes before my cards were returned to me.

This caused me to be late to pick up the next person and caused issues all night. Food wood was good, not great. Mainly because a 6 min pick up turned into 25 to 30 monies and I had to reheat it all and lost some freshness.

We ordered the family meal of chicken fingers with family side of mashed potatoes and sweet glazed carrots. This meal was to celebrate my sons 9th birthday. So I'm a little disappointed.
