Chicken and the Wolf: A Bold and Flavorful Experience in Tulsa
If you’re craving crispy, saucy, and perfectly spiced chicken in Tulsa, Chicken and the Wolf should be at the top of your list. I stopped in recently and was blown away by the bold flavors and spot-on execution of their menu.
I ordered the hot buffalo wings, fries, and a tropical punch—a combination that delivered heat, crunch, and balance in all the right ways. The wings were generously coated in a thick, spicy buffalo sauce that packed a kick without overwhelming the palate. The heat was definitely there, but not so intense that it overshadowed the rich, tangy flavor. And the best part? The sauce clung to the wings without dripping everywhere, making each bite a satisfying, saucy delight.
The fries were crisp, well-seasoned, and the perfect sidekick to the wings. No bland, limp fries here—these had just the right amount of crunch and salt to keep me reaching for more.
To cool things down, the tropical punch hit the spot. Sweet but not overly so, it balanced out the spice and rounded out the meal beautifully.
Overall, Chicken and the Wolf delivers on its promise of bold, fiery flavors with quality execution. Whether you’re a spice lover or just in the mood for damn good fried chicken, this place is worth a visit. I’ll definitely be back for more.

Read moreI always stop at Chicken and the Wolf when I'm in Tulsa, and today was no exception. I placed an order online right after I got my rental car at the airport, so I could grab dinner on the way to my hotel.
I ran into the restaurant to grab my order, and the employee at the counter confirmed that I had meant to order the vegan lemon dill sauce. I said "yep!" and was about to walk out with my order when I realized why he asked and said "wait, is this a vegan sandwich?" The employee told me that I had ordered a normal chicken sandwich, but with vegan sauce. Oh no!
I asked if they could remake the sandwich for me, and pulled out my wallet to pay because it had been my error. The employee waved me away and they quickly remade my order without charging me again.
I highly recommend stopping at Chicken and the Wolf because their food is consistently delicious, but also because they have kind and...
