I will not be back to this store. I ordered 7 Party Tacos (.59 each on Thursdays) and 1 Party Burrito at the drive thru. They said my order came to $9.73. That didn't sound right to me so when I got to the window I asked about it. I was told that it was correct. I looked in the bag and there were 7 tacos and 1 burrito. But the receipt was for 3 Party Taco meals $2.99 each. Since I had already pulled away from the window, I had to park and go inside to get the charge corrected. I showed the "Manager" the receipt and the contents of the bag and he acted like he was clueless as to what he should do. I watched as he took the receipt and went to the drive thru register. It looked like he didn't know what he was doing. Then he put my receipt in his back pocket and started waiting on drive thru customers. I told the guy at the register to just refund my money and keep the food. He said that the manager was not able to get into the register drawer because of some kind of problem. I was getting very frustrated with their excuses and ignorance of what to do and how to provide customer service. I needed to get to work. That's why I went to the drive thru. Now I've wasted 15 minutes trying to fix their mistake. The manager hands the original receipt back to me and says he credited my card but it will take 2 to 3 days to show up. I wondered how he could credit it without even having my card to run the refund back through. I ask for the credit receipt and he said he could hand write that he refunded it on the original receipt. (1) Handwriting something on a receipt is not a refund credit. It has to be done through the register. (2) It doesn't take 2 to 3 days to credit to a debit card. The transaction is almost immediate. (3) The "Manager" looked like he had just come in off the street (visor turned around backwards, no acknowledgement of me the customer, no apologies) (4) No one in the prep area appeared to be knowledgeable about getting the orders correct or how to work the register, which is why my receipt was wrong to begin with. This used to be a very efficient friendly store but this exhibition of unprofessional, discourteous ignorance shows that it has changed and needs to be corrected immediately or their business will suffer. I will still eat at Taco Bueno but never again...
Read moreI wish I got to work in a restaurant that just randomly decided when it was closed and decided not to help anyone. There's an entire hour left that it's supposedly open but all the lights are off the windows locked and the two people I saw clearly through the drive-thru window hid as soon soon as they saw my car pull through. My initial review was as follows: 5⭐ "Nice daytime staff quick drive thru service." NOPE! There are 2 ladies, 1 works mostly lunch shifts (kind lady late 20's [approx] soft spoken, average hight, with brunette hair) as well as 1 who works mostly dinner shifts (little bit older & smaller with black eyes and hair, happy friendly) who deserve raises based on friendlyness, kindness, accuracy and efficiency. (Forgive my forgetting names, please.) Other than that, and a few others who contribute, that restaurant is basically the worst place to crave at any time past about, oh, 9:15. Hours are until 1 am on Friday and Saturday and midnight every other day but you're Lucky, 4 leaf clover, go bet big at the casino, Evil Kenevil the Grand Canyon kind of lucky if you get anything tasting like food, let alone what you actually ordered after 10. That is, if they bother to answer the drive thru at all or just say that there's no more ground beef or beans able to be cooked in any form at the restaurant before they close in, by this time, 1 1/2 hours from then. Loved my Bueno with the 2 awesome chicks and the soft spoken younger gentleman, my drive thru friends. Now, if they're off shift, they might as well turn the sign and shut it down. Will definitely save you stress, irritation and complaints! Day shift rocks! In and out, smiling and no mess ups. Don't know...
Read moreWent to 15th & Lewis location. I'm so happy a Taco Bell was within an 1/8 of a mile away so I could get served. After ordering 15 minutes later we finally moved. 2 cars in front of me waited 5 minutes then drove off as did the car in front of me and as I did. 3 orders lost because of LACK OF SERVICE.
This isn't new. 3 days ago at 117th &Hwy 75 we waited 15 minutes in line. Didn't even make it to the speaker before we left to go to the Taco Bueno at Town West. There we were LIED TOO about the Whole Lotta Box not being on sale which cost 5 extra dollars. Mailman delivered mail a day late with guess what? A coupon for the Whole Lotta Box.
TACO (Wanna Be) BUENO has went so far downhill I actually quit eating there a long time ago. These instances the last week were for my paralyzed brother and his girlfriend. Not for me but since I can review here it is in 2 parts....... 1st couldn't review the food since no one could get served within 15 minutes and 2nd service or lack of a big zero.
I guess when people don't take pride in their work it shows. When people wait 15 minutes then that's 15 minutes of LIFE that are gone FOREVER. To be honest I never realized how hard it must be to take a spoon, shovel some meat into a taco shell, wrap it up and sling it out the door.......had to give a 1 star to post a review...
