On January 5th, I had breakfast with my family at a restaurant. The waitress seemed annoyed, even though there were not many people. However, I shrugged it off and placed our order. We waited for a while, but I thought that food takes a long time sometimes. Finally, the food arrived, but my mother-in-law's scrambled eggs were sunny-side up, my husband's burger with bacon was replaced with a BLT sandwich with bacon, and my French toast order was replaced with pancakes. I requested the waitress to take the incorrect orders back and give us what we had ordered. She said it was coming, but it never arrived. My husband had to leave, so I asked the waitress to package our food to go. I still tried not to make a big deal out of it and told her that we had been waiting for over an hour, and she got a lot of our order wrong. She rolled her eyes and said accidents happen and walked away. When we got home, I found only one piece of bread in my French toast, with no sugar or butter. I called the manager, Brandon, and he apologized and offered to give us three meals for free to make it right. So, on January 7th, I went to order again, but they left out my husband's chicken fried steak. The food was not good either; the fried apple had the skins in it, the mashed potatoes were cold and almost frozen, and the mac and cheese was not good either. I called the manager again, and he offered me another meal, but I declined and told him how unprofessional it all was.will never return .

Where to begin? I ordered the family southern fried chicken bundle and showed up at the scheduled time. I was told 5 minutes after I arrived that they no longer had that chicken but had another type. I reluctantly agreed, however, I would have changed my mind if I'd known that I would be standing in the retail lobby for 30 minutes. When the food came out, I tried my best to audit it. It wasn't what I paid for online, but I needed to take home something. What I didn't realize: 1. The chicken had large sections of breading that were only cooked on the outside. Cold sections of uncooked breading were littered throughout it all. One piece wasn't even chicken but just a large chunk of breading. 2. There were zero biscuits. I'm kicking myself for not noticing. 3. The tea was regular tea and not the specialty tea that I had paid extra for. I just want one thing when I drop more than 50 bucks for an evening meal: some semblance of getting what I paid for. I hate feeling like I've been scammed more than anything else, and both the Cracker Barrel online ordering system and the store itself really dropped the ball in quality. I'm disappointed in myself more than anything for not asking for a refund when they didn't have the actual item that I ordered. It's a pricey lesson, but at least I'll know better than to hope for more than this store is capable of.

I placed an order on line for the southern fried chicken. I ordered two of them. Each with mashed potatoes and gravy, and corn in one and green beans in the other. Well first, the chicken was small greasy, and over cooked. The mashed potatoes had hardly any gravy on it and the biscuits were dry and over cooked. The only thing that tasted half way decent was the vegetables. My mother said this was supposed to be good. Maybe at her location, but not Tulsa Hills location. I will not be ordering this again any time soon. Update: I notified Cracker Barrel regarding the food. I was contacted immediately from this location and from corporate. They did send me free coupons for 2 meals. I will use them one day. Unfortunately, it is a 25 mile drive to get there, so not any time soon. Thanks to Cracker Barrel for making it right. Update: I used the coupons today for my free meals. No I didn't get the southern fried chicken, instead I decided to try the Thursday special, Turkey and dressing. I ordered 4 meals. They came with turkey and stuffing with gravy, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn on three of them and green beans on the fourth one. All came with cranberry sauce. I could taste a hint of orange. Then two biscuits each. These meals were delicious!! I will definitely be back on a Thursday for this. Worth trying it out.

Let me start by saying the staff was super delightful. Any problem we had was fixed immediately without hesitation and with a warm smile and they are the reason for the 3 stars. Now for the reasons I wasn't able give this place any more than 3 stars... Most of thehe food was horrible! Like really horrible 😔 I ordered the bone in fried chicken which was suppose to be 4 pieces of chicken with honey for drizzling 2 sides and corn bread or a biscuit. The chicken was good, nice and hot and crispy, my turnip greens were cold and not seasoned at all and the pinto beans were down right pitiful. They taste like they were boiled in plain water until they got soft then strained for dear life, hell I've had canned beans better than that. I ended up sending the greens and beans back for hot greens and swapping out the beans for mac n cheese which wasn't "horrible" but could really use some TLC. Then I had to ask for my bread and honey that was suppose to come with and when I got the first order it was pretty cool like it had been sitting a little bit but I guess it didn't matter because my pintos were to dry for beans and cornbread. That would have turned into a whole Choking hazard. Now as for my son's food he had the fried shrimp which came on a bed of fries with a side which he ordered the mac n cheese with a coke. The shrimp and fries were great again crispy and we'll seasoned, fries were good and hot and the MAC wasn't the worst but needed some TLC. Actually the only problem with his food is that after all out adult situations were cleared up my baby still hadn't received his coke and actually I was almost finished eating before he actually got that coke. Now on to my cousin's food. If I'm not mistaken her order consists of meatloaf, chicken and dumplings, and ham with 2 or 3 sides hers being pinto beans, turnip greens and hash brown casserole. According to her the meatloaf, ham, and hash brown casserole were really good. I already told you all about the pintos 🙄 they forgot her greens and the chicken and dumplings were old, cold and lumpy as well as meatless they lacked any kind of salt seasoning or chicken flavor. They were a total disgrace just heart breaking. You can bet she was swapping stuff out. Now for my aunt. She's 78 and on a renal diet so everything was perfect to her. We haven't seen her eat like that in ages. And for this we are eternally grateful She had the catfish, fried okra, 2 sides of turnip greens, mashed potatoes, a salad, and the horrible pintos with peach cobbler and vanilla ice cream and corn muffins she had no complaints and no food left on or in any plates or bowls. She was over joyed I just wish I had before and after pics. She stuck an entire corn muffin in her mouth. It was such a...

If I could give this review zero or even negative stars I would. My family and I went to Cracker Barrel and we had one of the worst experiences we’ve had. There was maybe four table besides ours and yet we barely saw our waitress. We ordered appetizers and after 10 minutes she came back and took our food order. After probably another 20 minutes we got our main food ( still no appetizers) and she walked away even though all our drinks had been empty since she first took our food order. We eventually went around the store to find her so we could tell her we had no drinks, our orders were wrong and that we still hadn’t gotten our two appetizers. She said ok and walked away. You could see her talking with the other waitresses just standing around and chatting. I went to find a manager. I asked politely if I could have a new waitress because the service was horrible and told him all the things that had happened, and he said ok let me check. He never came back and the waitress still didn’t do anything. I got up quite irritated and asked if I could have some to-go boxes for our unfixed orders and they still had attitude about it. somebody finally came over and gave us to-go boxes. I’m sure somebody eventually said something to her because she came over and tried to argue with us on how we were wrong. The manager came back over and asked if we needed anything from him. I was so surprised by this because well we needed him about 30 minutes ago when the whole ordeal started not after you blew us off. He said well I guess if it’s that much of a problem then I can take one or two things off. I’m honestly so disappointed by this because we have been going to crackle...

UPDATE 6-15-2021 The store manager got involved to fix the situation. A completely different experience to the other day. We appreciate that he took the time to address the concerns.

PREVIOUS REVIEW Placed an order a couple days ago online. We ordered 2 chicken fried chicken meals, picked up through curbside and got home. When we got home we realized there was a 3rd meal in the bag and there was missing sides from the order. Called up to the store and was told that they would give us a free meal.

Upon further looking, we were charged for 3 meals, when we had only placed 2. When we tried to place the order for the free meal, we spoke with another manager by the name of Danny. He said there was nothing they could do about the meal, because they don't control the online site. We were already told that we'd get a free meal for the missing sides and then Danny lied about what came with the orders.

We showed the receipt and the charge. The order was for 2 meals, we were charged for 3. There wasn't suppose to be a third meal. There was only 2 people eating. He kept arguing and trying to claim the store took no responsibility for the errors. He initially refused to look at the order number we gave him and instead told us he could look it up by phone number. Which he couldn't.

All and all. One of the managers was very accommodating and was actually trying to be helpful. Danny lied and was not helpful at all. I really wish we got the first managers name, because he was awesome. However, we will not be back because of the experience we...
