Reviewed July 21, 2022 Generous portions, very friendly service, food disappointing, bland and a little overpriced. You really want to give the place high marks because the staff is so nice and friendly, but that doesn’t make the food any better. The first mistake I made was ordering dips with out ordering pita. My fault, every Middle Eastern, Mediterranean and/or Greek restaurant I have ever eaten at will, at a minimum throw in a couple of triangles of pita to go with the dip you order and if you want more you pay for it. Not here it counts as one of the menu items you pick it with your meal. If you want you it, you have to ask for it. I didn’t realize that until our meals were on the table. We ordered four dips and ate them without pita. I was not paying an extra $3.99 for something that should have been complementary with the $15.99 plate. Item by item. Chicken Shawarma; dry and over cooked or reheated. Yogurt Cucumber Salad; watery as if the cucumber had not been properly drained before making the dip. Hummus; not bad, smooth creamy, but only tahini and olive oil flavors. Mediterranean salad; Ok, but like the rest of the meal not much flavor. Tabbouli; fair! Beef Kabob; not bad. And last the Baba Ghanoush. Not like any we had ever had. It had the required smokey back ground flavor mixed with a little bell pepper, onion and tomato and lemon juice. Very different, as was the texture, more like a salsa than the traditional thick creamy Baba Ghanoush. My wife did not like it. I did. Drinks are in the can. That’s okay. Accompanied with cup of ice on a 97-degree day would have sure been nice though. Prices are up on everything. 16 bucks for a subpar meal served on plastic…. NO! No sense dragging this out. I will not be back and I would not recommend Palmyra to a friend. Much better is easy to...

I was impressed with the quality of the food. The taste and authenticity. There is depth to the flavors. Simply delicious!
I had the Falafels and Rice with Baba Ganoush and Tabouli. The Baba Ganoush was unlike any I've had before. Outstanding! Topped with fresh pecans. It had fresh crunchy vegetables, it was salad like. Very enjoyable.
My husband had the Chicken Shawarma. This was unlike any Shawarma he has had before. It was cut into 4 servings. The bread/naan was excellent. The vegetables inside were grilled. I asked for lettuce and tomatoes to be added and sauce on the side. It was a to go order. The sauce was a delicious garlic sauce.
We both had plenty of food for leftovers.
Each of our meals were healthy and fresh.
The atmosphere here is warm, friendly and welcoming. Visiting this restaurant was a true pleasure.
Authentic Mediterranean cuisine.

Read moreI recently visited this Mediterranean restaurant and was blown away by their kabob! The food was absolutely delicious and definitely some of the best Mediterranean cuisine I've had in a long time.
The kabob was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection - tender and juicy with just the right amount of char on the outside. It was served with a generous portion of fluffy, flavorful rice and a side salad that complemented the dish perfectly.
The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. It was clear that the restaurant takes pride in their food and service, and it showed in every aspect of my dining experience.
Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for amazing Mediterranean food. The kabob alone is worth the trip, but there are so many other delicious dishes on the menu that are definitely worth trying as well. If you're a fan of Mediterranean cuisine, you won't be...
