Sadly I wont be going back to Smoothie King after my last experience. I ordered 1 smoothie and purchased 1 small bag of waffle chips. Totaling approx 20. after taxes. I then realized I had been overcharged when I noticed a 5.00 price tag on the chips. So they refunded me on what I had paid but wouldnt resell me the chips at the 5.00 sticker price. Get this...I had already opened the bag and had eaten a few before they refunded what I paid. Now they had the partially consumed bag of chips in their possesion and wouldnt let me pay sticker price. The lady clerk said was because the prices had been marked up on them that day but that she hadnt marked it on the bag before I had prchased them. I asked what are they going to do with them and she said throw them in the trash. I told her I was willing to buy them back for sticker price 5 plus taxes and they said they cant because of their cash register and because mgmt wouldnt let them. Therefore I was frustrated for 1) getting overcharged 2) then my partially eaten bag of chips taken away, 3) they wouldnt honor the $5. sticker price marked on bag. Therefore, I cancelled my order and got my 20, back and left the place. They let me leave unhappy without a bit of care or concern on their poor customer service. Later I telephoned their corporate to inform them on a recorder but no reply. That recently happened at the smoothie king in Tulsa on 41st and yale. Good luck to them, I wish I couldve written a...
Read moreLove the concept of this place, and was going to order-but some of the nutrition label ingredients are needing more detail for people with allergies or stomach issues.
Also, the price for just a medium size alone is over $9-that's more expensive than even Starbucks. The listings can be vague and appear to be disingenuous marketing. The "gut health-digestion support" add-on is one example; it does not say WHAT it contains in order for the consumer to earnestly ascertain its efficacy or safety to ingest. That could be anything from a probiotic juice to just some fiber from a fruit. The "immune support" one appears to be well-listed, though.
The sugar content on some of them is quite excessive, for the healthy marketing angle.
All in all looks like a fun treat on an outing with friends, if you have some spare cash to spend and no health issues. Would recommend contacting their headquarters before buying anything if you have an allergy, since their site makes that difficult and their disclaimer clearly lists the interface is not fully able to filter out all allergens from product selection when...
Read moreI would normally give this place 5 stars however, I was in there today and I got the wrong smoothies. Which really isn’t that big of a deal but the boy started telling me I ordered wrong and kept tell me how to order the smoothies for future reference. I told him I definitely knew how to order my smoothie that I was in here several times a week. He then told me he was there working 5 days a week. I have never seen this boy before. I finally had to say, these were not what I ordered can you please make what I did order. He reluctantly said Ok. When he had them ready I said thank you and proceeded to leave and he started in again on me and how to order my smoothie. I finally had to tell him to stop arguing with me, that I am the customer and he needed to have better customer service. He kept mouthing off the whole time to me as I walked out the door. I was there on 2/24/19 between 1:00 and 1:30pm. I have never encountered this boy and I normally have very friendly encounters...
