Sbarro Barnes Crossing — Restaurant in Tupelo

I would love to give this restaurant zero stars , but i can’t! I went to Sbarro , 1001 Barnes crossing (7/25/23 at 1:30 pm) , and had one of the worst experiences of my life ! One : the employee was very rude and nasty! Two : the employee or manager was acted like me and my husband wasn’t standing there, three : they had people in the kitchen touching all over the food! So i guess the manager finally took our order, i ordered (two slices of pepperoni and three bread sticks and one slice of cheese , and baked ziti! I was overcharged for my food and the food was BURNT and I mean BURNT! The cheese on the pizza was molded and baked ziti was watery and the bread sticks were hard! I asked for a refund and i was told (HELL NO) then i asked could i speak with the manager and i was denied! I absolutely cannot deal with the new employees,I’ve been a loyal customer of sbarro for ten years! I’m seriously considering calling the health department! SHUT THIS...

I am not one to write food reviews, but I am sorry, but this has to be addressed ASAP. After seeing what I saw, I did not purchase food from this establishment. I witnessed one worker yawning over the pizza, without covering her mouth. No one was hair nets, mask neither gloves, while preparing or serving the food. This is the one that really got me; the worker mixing the cheese was not wearing gloves and was mixing the cheese with her bare hands out in the open. She was also touching other surfaces, the door and the oven in-between mixing the cheese. This needs to be addressed soon, and I say that because this is how germs spread, folks get sick and it is beyond unsanitary. This is how business owners loose their business, due to the lack of training and workers not taking pride in their job. The workers in the mall suck! They are LIARS MY TOTAL WAS 11.99 and the boy said 11.99 so I gave him 12 and said keep the penny then he says no it’s 13.10 I said oh okay so I didn’t have a one I gave him a 5 and he was looking at it funny I said did I confuse u he said no and slammed the drawer shut. I gave him $17 and it was 13.10.
