Rama Jama’s — Restaurant in Tuscaloosa

Myself and my family went in on a Saturday afternoon, placed our order and after being told what would be 10mins turned into 20-30mins okay..no biggie right!? Bc it’s made to order AND it’s busy..Fine. Here’s the problem. While waiting I’m standing watching the young ladies give out food. Next up is a to-go order, the young lady hands it to a gentleman and his family, they leave..(We’re still waiting) approximately 10 minutes later this same gentleman comes back after noticing it’s not what he ordered. I’m still watching and waiting….One of the girls (not the original who gave the food) takes that SAME food, acts as if it’s FRESHLY made and brings it to me. WTF‼️‼️‼️That’s A HEALTH VIOLATION ‼️‼️ How GROSS‼️I ask her if that’s the food the gentleman gave back? already knowing that it is..but the fact that she said “he didn’t touch it” as if she was sitting down with him and his family! I know this is a college campus but you should be teaching your employees better than that! Hell that’s just lack of character in my opinion and poor customer service!! Do the right thing!! The “manager on duty” never uttered anything to me but did say to the young lady “she gave someone the wrong food” after being there for a hour waiting on our food to be recooked, needless to say after witnessing THAT, WE won’t EVER return! Do right by your customers!!! You never know when someone is...

For my very first experience of the well known restaurant, I was disappointed. I ordered the Texas toast BLT. Which on the menu is ordered with fries automatically. Honest mistake being my first time there I guess the cashier assumed I meant the original BLT. I recieved my sandwich noticing it wasn't what I wanted. Politely explained to her that I'd wanted the one with the green tomatoes. The owner kindly had them remake it from the back. He even came out and told me it was being made fresh. So noticing I didn't have any fries I told the cashier I thought it came with them. She explained that it didn't. So I separately ordered fries. After doing so I noticed it did come with them. You'd think she automatically knew to fix the issue, but instead i was just over charged for a BLT that did not have Texas toast and a few fries literally. The fries weren't even fresh. Saying all this to say she was very frustrated and acted as if she didn't quiet understand so I left the issue as is. Overall the owner was super nice to me and im sure he'd been on that grill all day but his customer service for a Friday was superb. His workers were more so the ones who kind of made me feel they were just trying to get me out of the way. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Ramma Jama's for breakfast and I have to say, it was an absolutely delicious experience. The menu had a variety of breakfast options, from traditional favorites to more unique and creative dishes.

The service at Ramma Jama's was also top-notch. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure that our experience was enjoyable. The wait time for our food was minimal, and the food was served hot and fresh.

The atmosphere was also great. The restaurant had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a casual breakfast.

I highly recommend Ramma Jama's for breakfast. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is perfect for a casual meal. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant and highly recommend...
