Decided to get a large order for 4 families. I tried to order online but the system was down due to storms so I decided to drive 30 minutes to place the order at the restaurant. Upon arriving I parked in curbside pickup and called the store. A gentleman answered and I told him I was in the parking lot and would like to place a large order. He said they do not take phone orders and I would have to order online. I told him I tried but was unsuccessful due to storms. He got his manager I. The phone and I explained the same situation. He told me I would have to order I. The drive through. I told him that was fine but I would not be pulling forward waiting on my order and then getting soaked when I roll my window down. He said I had to order at the drive through. To which I did. I got to the windows and was told that would be $84.00. Thank you sir, would you pull forward please? Absolutely not! Manager comes. Sir I need you to pull forward please. No sir, I tried to avoid this very situation and I told you I was not going to pull forward and get soaked. Then sir we just won’t serve you. I have a paid receipt that says you will. If you dont pull forward I will call the police. Okay, there is going to be a lot of pissed off people waiting for the police to get here. I did your job for you. You could have taken my order, told me it was ready. I come through the drive thru, pay and leave. Now you threaten me with arrest because I did your job for you. But sir that’s our policy. I understand, I also told you my policy. Now please get my paid for food and don’t spit in it. I will be reaching out to corporate. Of which I did. Sir, I’m sorry you had such a poor experience. We will have that store owner reach out to you. Thank you so much. Two weeks later still no reaching out. The only reason you got a 1 star I because I could t give you less. I have been a chick fil a fan. No longer. I hope this review inspires you to learn something when different...
Read moreI ordered 2 meals and an extra chocolate shake for Delivery. I live close, but I'm disabled and can't drive. So a few mins later, app tells me can't process order, I will HAVE to come to the store or pay differently. I went to my Uber, I ordered and Chick Fil A was delivered with a KNOCK on the door. I was waiting for it by the door because I was playing Dominoes with my daughter, in my living room. Our AC was out since Friday night. This was more than 24 hours later. So our AC wasn't running and my Driveway is in FRONT of my duplex. So apparently the driver thought it wise to creep up on my steps and put the food within 2 inches of my gigantic fly trap trash can (complete with rat turds on it),when there is a CHAIR beside ny front door for deliveries. I did NOT even know it had come. So, Sunday evening came out to put cat litter in can and saw all this CFA garbage on my porch. I thought it was from our Uber order and my daughter had put it out. I picked it up 2 inches and pushed it in garbage can. I realized that it was heavy *(with food) AFTER putting it in the dumpster. On Monday @ 8:27 am I contacted Chick-fil-A Highlands Shopping Center. Montana told me she would call me back in a few minutes. She returned the call at 8:58 am to inform me they would CREDIT my CFA app with the SAME meals and the Delivery fee $46.65. What Montana, and numerous OTHERS have failed to say, was that CREDIT is good for( 5) FIVE DAYS! I have been resenting their prices for a long time and they have RUINED the good relationship that we have enjoyed for DECADES! All of this should have been handled with promptness and courtesy. They KNEW the orders were the EXACT same and going to the SAME address!!!
I have...
Read moreAs far as Chick-fil-A locations go, this one has pretty good food. Inexplicably, lunch at Chick-fil-A is generally tastier and more high-quality than when you get dinner. This likely has something to do with the fact that adults tend to work in the mornings and afternoons at fast food, while teenagers work more of the night shifts. At most fast food restaurants, and particularly at this one, the drive-through during dinner hours is like going to a high school social mixer -- there is a lot more flirting and socializing going on with the team members than actual service. So, expect much longer lines for dinner, and expect the food to not be quite as good.
However, this location is usually pretty fast and reliable for lunch. The only downside is that the parking situation around the building is deplorable. There are very few parking spots within the confines of the restaurant itself, forcing people who want to eat in to park around the periphery of the restaurant. This causes logistical issues, as people are streaming in and out through the drive-through line, which typically serpentines around the building. But let's face it: being in a ponderous drive-through line at a Chick-fil-A is a rite of passage; you encounter a crowd of people at virtually every Chick-fil-A in the United States. In fact, if you pull up to a Chick-fil-A location at peak lunch hours and the place is deserted, you have reason to worry. You might not know something that everyone else in the area knows.
But I digress: this Chick-fil-A is a solid four stars, particularly at lunchtime. For dinner, you're probably looking in the 2 to 3 star range, but some nights there's just no time to make dinner. You gotta do what...
