Roost Chicken Salad & Deli — Restaurant in Tyler

This is some of the best food in Tyler! You can’t go wrong with the breakfast, the chicken salad is fresh and creamy, and I personally think their burgers are the best burgers in town. Their customer service has been great and all the employees have been helpful and fast. Even when the restaurant is packed my food is served in a reasonable time, and I also think their reward program is a great idea! You get points and can use them to get discounts on your food. Overall i love Roost! I recommend it to all of my friends and every single one of them has loved it too! It’s definitely one of my top 3 restaurants in Tyler. Come check it out...

I’m usually the one to give the benefit of the doubt but🤷🏽‍♀️.Went in a week ago tried their regular roost chicken salad with crackers,10/10. Came in today tried their chicken fried steak, WILL NOT GET AGAIN. The mashed potatoes it comes with have a weird flavor kind of like hot dog water or something, the CFS was not terrible but could definitely be better. The service was 0/10 argued about giving my fiancée the toast that he paid extra for then brought it to us burnt. All and all if we return then we won’t be getting anything other than the Roost original...

We ordered pick up two sandwiches over the weekend. The Food was great, but unfortunately one of the sandwiches was not even started until minutes after we got to the restaurant to pick up our order. The staff gave us drinks and cookies as well as a $2 voucher which was a nice gesture...but the extra 25 minutes wait for a total of 40 minutes until our food was ready with one other patron in the restaurant at the time was worth more than the concessions offered for the inconvenience.
