First time there. Ordered a margarita and it was literally the worse drink I’ve ever had! So I ordered a shot of patron to make it tolerable. Then after I finished the margarita I ordered a draft beer. Next thing I know the bartender is handing me my ticket. I didn’t ask to close out my tab. When I asked him why he said it was bartender’s discretion. So I sipped my beer. An hour later I asked if I could order another beer he said, “ well I told you you were done for the night.” Literally never said that! Just closed me out without a word until I asked why. Then he argued with me and said there was a 3 drink maximum per hour, (mind you I only ordered a margarita with an extra shot because the margarita itself was so awful and void of any hint of tequila and a draft beer). But it had been over an hour. I am a bartender myself and have NEVER been cut off! EVER! These bartenders not only DO NOT know how to mix tasty drinks but they are extremely rude, do not smile, and cut you off just because! How do they go from over-serving to under-serving? Not to mention while I was there, a drunk guy walked in, running into bar stools barely able to stand up, and yet he was served alcohol but I was cutoff! Will NEVER go back to this ‘private’ members only bar! Plus it smells like...
Read moreHeads up - if you're privacy orientated, like myself, skip this bar. They scan IDs whether you're drinking or not.
Atmosphere is OK. Just a regular old school pub. Lots of beer selection, didn't get to drink though because of the ID scan. Pretty riduclous how any other pub around here doesn't scan IDs. Plus you can get liquor without scanning your ID in other stores. Makes no sense that I can't even be inside without an ID scan. They for sure lost my business when they told me that. I let the rest of my tech private friends know that this isn't the place to be at either if you're thirsty.
After reading other reviews, it's clear to me why they scan IDs. If you read the other reviews, it seems that bartenders are not properly trained to recognize signs of intoxication and instead go by a 3-drink-in-1-hour rule, which is a basic rule for a beginner bartender, but can easily frustrated veteran drinkers. If they can't even be trained to recognize real intoxication and rely on trivial rules, it's likely they're not being trained properly to verify IDs either. Newsflash: Black market IDs are out there AND scannable so your system is already flawed. Feel free to chime in if I'm wrong about my assumptions here but its just...
Read moreDecent size facility with plenty of tables for small groups. An area in the back has tables you could potentially push together for a larger group. Outdoor covered patio by the parking lot with picnic style seating. Draft beer list is extensive with multiple different styles of beer and ciders to choose from. Small selection of cans and bottles as well. They were however out of two beers we wanted plus multiple others, so, probably had 40 something available of the 50+ they advertise. No table service but the bartenders were attentive and polite when you approached the bar. Three televisions at the bar and a handful of others scattered around the walls allows for multiple games/shows at the same time. The bartender was able to easily change the television where we were sitting to the soccer game I requested. They do not have a food menu. They were able to provide us with some pub-mix by request. There was a group that had pizza delivered and it seems you can bring food in from the restaurant next door. Atmosphere and clientele were safe and comfortable. We enjoyed our soccer game and drinks and will...
