McDonald's — Restaurant in Union Charter Township

I have been to this McDonald's a few times each and every time I go there is a wait. I stopped today and could not believe my eyes when I go inside. took them almost 20 minutes to give me a cheeseburger oh, that's it just a cheeseburger. I say to the young man I get a tea with that don't I he looks at my receipt and mumbles something like yes but he could have mumbled something like now or he could have mumbled something like I love my job? I have no idea so he points to some cups, and says something like just grab one. I don't live there oh, I don't know what size cups are rich all I see is a bottom of a cup and they all pretty much look the same. I say to the young man do I just grab any cup? And here comes the mumbling again yes no I hate my job I don't know he's just kind of pointing in that direction and mumbling. Finally I look him in the eye I say dude grab me a cup. Meanwhile the manager is right there she is cheering the grill team on telling everybody what a wonderful job they're doing. I go over to get my tea unsweetened, nope it was empty I had to get sweet tea I hate sweet tea! So on my way out the door not to interrupt manager praises, but I say you're out of unsweetened tea too. He looks at me and says cool, I said not cool, I ordered something I paid for it and you can't give me what I paid for. I don't think it would have bothered me half as much if he said I'm sorry is there something else that we can get you anyting but say cool pretty much saying I don't give a rats! And the manager is cheering out loud complimenting the whole staff all while this is going on. I'm done going to that McDonald's I never leave a comment but I looked at my phone and Google just happened to ask me and to give a 1-star rating Karma I bet some people read this and I guarantee for as many times as I have stopped at that McDonald's in particular I'm not the only one experiencing this. Don't worry the McDonald's down the road closer to Meijer is almost as bad I'm not kidding. Morning shifts aren't bad but afternoon and late night coming back from the casino is just horrible... And if you're part of Meijer management team reading this I definitely could identify that it was the manager's fault what was going on at that particular moment as she was encouraging her employees yet they did not deserve it because they weren't trained right but we're being praised for falling flat on their face trust me it was the manager. As far as the guy at the cash register while he had to be a whole whopping 16 years old he's not sure how to handle a situation that is more than his pay wage. But I guarantee if you're going to pay $15 an hour to these kids they better act...

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Yesterday I fell in their parking lot, it was icy an not maintained. Went back today to pick up a mobile order at the counter, waited for 10 minutes was never greeted or anything. Instead I got to watch the manager ignore customers to speak to an employee on the other side of the counter in line about her w2s an waited for her to go look for those am text other managers about the missing W2. Watched another employee bagging my food walk away from my food and go put her sweatshirt (from home not a uniform) and come back an finish packing my order. Recieved our food, very sloppy wrapping, cold and the burger patties were like dry an over cooked like the had been around for awhile. Had to sort through to find the one without onions because the paper that said no onions was folded up an on the inside of the wrapper where it couldn't be seen. Cant look and see which ones have onions because some they put onions on top, others on the bottom an some had onions between the burger patties in the middle of the sandwich. It's like a free fer all in there. Would recommend going to the location down the road. Not a good experience. 2nd time waiting on a mobile order at the counter for 10+ minutes so I won't be...

Service was VERY slow & it actually wasn't THAT busy. Definitely was NOT fast. It took 15 minutes for someone to come to the counter so we could pay for our food, then it took another 20 minutes for us to get our food. My husband's burger looked like a 2 year old put it together. It wasn't put together right at all & it was very messy. Apparently Door Dash & the drive through are more important than people eating inside. We noticed other people had long waits too. It would be great if the workers actually looked out at the counter or didn't just ignore several people standing there. I also noticed there were drinks sitting ready at the drink dispenser for several minutes. They also seemed to have a problem with Big Macs that night. At least 3 people while we were there, had issues. One lady gave us her 1st one, but then when a worker FINALLY acknowledged us, they grabbed the sandwich (that was sitting right in front of me) & threw it away! She said she'd make another one, but never did. In fact, someone else finally brought our food out. I doubt I'll ever go back to this McDonald's.
