Pitstop Pizza — Restaurant in Union City

The Pitstop Pizzaria is a wonderful restaurant. I love their pizza, Italian meals, chicken wings/finger with french fries, & deserts are so tasty & great. I've ate at the Pitstop several times. My Uncle recommended it to me. Glad that he did the restaurant, so lovely, with nostalgic Old Italian style with it's Latino touch as well. Nice, big & spacious so you could go with a family pack or large/small amount of friends with you. The spot isn't far from Bergenline Avenue at all. Also the people who own it are a Peruvian couple. They are very sweet and nice to anyone that comes into their restaurant and their service is excellent. I was in the mood for some pizza however lots of options in West New York are not really good in my opinion so decided to try this place out. This pizzeria had really great reviews and I definitely can add to the list! I ordered two pepperoni slices with extra cheese and they were very delicious! Crispy crust, not to doughy. The sauce was so good. Not too saucy or salty or sweet. It was perfect. The owner was very generous with the cheese in addition to the pepperoni, was also very friendly and allowed me to enter with my puppy 🐶 😷 and wasn’t mean and kick me out like some owners. For some reason, I have never been able to eat the white sauces(ranch/blue cheese) so this is the first time I bit into the pizza and liked the sauce! I couldn’t stop eating it lol….it was a thin slice with bacon and chicken bits….the sauce was a bit sweet but it was really good…the little spinach and pepperoni bites were really good! I wish I would have taken pictures of everything. They even waited for me to get there, after I told them that I would be getting there, a few minutes after closing.
