Taco Bell — Restaurant in Union City

Food is terrible every time we visit. We've been there three times either because we're in a pinch and hungry on the way to Senoia or I'm on my lunch break and only have 30 minutes. We've only been 3 times but this time was it for me. After visiting once during lunch and twice during dinner, this was it for me. Tonight I experienced a WET Quesorito, a WET chalupa (wrapper, tortilla, everything) , and a overly sweet Dr. Pepper (I ordered Sierra Mist originally and the guy in the drive thru told me they were out). He tried to tell me they were out of Dr. Pepper too until I requested Mr. Pibb.....suddenly they had it....? Not only that, but the soft taco my wife received had to be eaten outside of the vehicle due to it being so greasy and messy. Also, no napkins were put in the bag. The last time I visited (on lunch), the same guy was working the front. I went through the drive thru, got my usual (1 beef chalupa supreme- no tomatoes, 1 cheesy gordita crunch- sub chicken, and 1 small Sierra Mist), and pulled into a parking spot to eat quickly. As I drank my Sierra Mist, I was met with a bitter carbonated beverage. After realizing their syrup was off, I went into the restaurant only to be met with a young man that thought it was funny to say "NO. Just NO!" when I told him "I think your syrup may be a little off on the drive-thru Sierra Mist." Then he said "nah. I'm just playin'. Get you a drink over there." I just stared at him- not sure what happened. I walked over to the dining area fountain and found the same thing- their syrup was off. Finally, I settled for Diet Pepsi, which still didn't taste right but I wasn't in the mood to be mocked in front of other patrons and the new employee being trained on the register. Our tacos were good. The bathroom could be cleaner but was good enough, nothing bad. They do this kiosk ordering thing here when you walk in. It was a little confusing at first but we had time and went thru the menu and figured it out. We were a little disappointed we could not find the special they were actually advertising on the screen saver of the kiosk in the actual kiosk menu... but we eventually just ordered something else. I was originally going to give 3 stars because everything was alright but nothing special except they definitely earned the 4th star for their Manager's excellent handling of the issue the older gentleman in front of us. He ordered before us on the kiosk but there was apparently an issue with the order submission he didn't know and his order wasn't acknowledged until we had gotten our food and we're halfway thru eating. It could be that the kiosks are tricky, like I said it took us a couple rounds to look thru the menu and decide and pay. I assumed he had a huge order for take away or something, but then he was wondering where his order was and the employees were checking on what happened since it had been 20 minutes and they were not slammed with orders. And the manager overheard the issue and came out and took care of everything for the gentleman. Classic good management in progress here, so kudos for this. Parking was easy in and out. Management at this location needs training. My experience 1/3/25 at this location was so disappointing. What I experienced last night was so disrespectful and disgusting and with my children in car I will be reporting to corporate! The manager refused to give her name… she’s a brown skinned young lady with dreads. I wasn’t rude never or even spoke with a negative tone to her so that’s why I’m very confused why she was so rude to me. Due to their issues with the system being down she yelled at me to move away from her speaker because I was messing her numbers up which was so confusing to me. The young lady that was at the window never told me to move she said and very pleasant that she was working to bring it back up so I was patiently waiting and stated that was fine so then I hear a voice screaming move from her speaker I’m like wait what??? She was rudely screaming.. I asked for her name and she refused but that’s ok I will make sure this go up to corporate and past corporate to repot you!! You make Taco Bell look bad!! The way you acted tonight make me think you’re careless about your job and you really don’t like your job!! So sad!! Only in the hood you...
