Juicy Crawfish - Union City — Restaurant in Union City

I'm half and half with this location. I've gone here about 10 times, each time I visit, I spend around $35 which is fair for 3 meals, or 2 meals and an appetizer. The wings on almost every occasion have been seasoned however rather small. The whiting/tilapia I receive is usually very thin and fried too hard to enjoy so I throw away more than I eat, even when I purchase a 5 piece. The chicken tenders are always bland no matter what specifications I put in the notes for the cook. I appreciate the generosity on the sides, they usually make up for the lack of entrée. However, even with the given knowledge and experiences I've had here, I'd chose another seafood restaurant in the area. The main reason being the front cashier saying "I called you!" every time I go to pick up my order. I am aware that the website states 20 minutes, but I also am aware that that cannot always be possible, so I allot the cook a few extra minutes to avoid having to wait in the lobby. Please don't say this to people, its un·nec·es·sar·y, because I don't have to explain why I didn't arrive at 20...

I was a bit sceptic because of the other reviews, but had a "positive disappointment" Yes, you might say there is no traditional service (even if you want to eat on place you will get as a take away pack with what you free to seat and enjoy) but boy the food is so delicious and compensate everything. The Crawfish with shrimp was one of the best I had so far. The additional catfish was perfectly cooked and no mud taste. The suggested homemade lemonade was also perfectly prepared. And the price I think was perfectly right. The cherry on the top was a perfect extras in the bag like the apron, plastic gloves in case you like to eat a messy way with hands but don't want to smell the seafood all day because you had a perfect lunch 😉 So I tried to find at least something to complain about like others but not possible. What a perfect place to have a perfect meal. For sure if will be nearby in the future will come back... or come back...

This was my first time going and I took my 10-year-old Per his request since he loves seafood. I was a bit skeptical eating at a restaurant in a strip mall. When I walked in there wasn’t a single person in the restaurant eating, but my son wanted to try crawfish. We ended up getting two boxed meals of catfish shrimp and tilapia. We got a half pound of crawfish as well. We were pleasantly surprised with the crawfish having potatoes and corn in it which we loved. The food was pretty salty but we loved every single bite of it. Since we had never had crawfish before I had to ask how to open them and the employee took his time to explain how to do eat them. This will definitely be a place we will be returning to in the future. Absolutely loved it. While we were eating there was a nonstop flow of people getting takeout so while people may have not been in the restaurant people were certainly getting food...
