Tony Novante's Pizza and Wing Boss — Restaurant in Union City

This place is getting a well deserved 1 star and that's because I have to and the girl who answered the phone was very nice and pleasant. We ordered dinner this evening entire order came cold not like warm or room temp it actually came cold to the touch. The pizza cheese was hard and none pliable, fries and beef patty were soggy and the chicken was decent would of been better if the teriyaki sauce didn't taste so bad cold. After earning it all up the pizza was tasteless and basically 90% of the food went in the trash which killed us as we hate to be wasteful.

When we noticed the food was cold we immediately called the vendor and explained she was very nice and offered to call back as she did not know what would be acceptable customer service to her boss she then called back with a 25% refund on the order... we did not believe this to be fair. We understand ppl want free stuff ect but that's not us we simply asked for 50% back because our very hungry children ate 3 slices of pizza just for the sake of saying it. My initial reaction when the food arrived cold was to send it back but my family was pretty hungry. Needless to say we are not pleased with 1 the quality and taste of the food, 2 their extremely poor ability to keep the food hot during delivery either the shop had it sitting or the delivery guy just was slow I don't know don't care but was Ice cold. Then their extreme lack of customer service as the girl had to call her boss to see what she can do which means there was no predetermined training to address these...

The highlight was the service, but the pizza happened to be spectacular along with the service I received! Crust was amazing, and all of the ingredients tasted whole and fresh!

I work in an overnight facility that you cannot leave out of the door, and I only had cash for delivery.

Ana, (who was the delivery driver who I don't believe is supposed to even deliver) happened to take my order down, had such tremendous patience, understood my work situation, and the fact I had just cash when they technically don't accept cash payments was beyond a miracle!!!

She delivered my food in a very timely fashion and this speaks volumes of how amazing of a pizza shop this is!

I don't even live in New Jersey, and I will forevermore be an indefinitely appreciative customer more than likely!

The pizza slices in the restaurant are huge. The pizza itself is ok although I did enjoy the buffalo chicken the best. Like many pizza places that just throw it in the oven to heat up after ordering the temperature can vary. For this order the pizza was warm but the garlic knots they put in at the same time were basically cold, didn't have much garlic and maybe on the heavy side with dried herbs. For some reason they give you a cheaper price online vs ordering in store. They do delivery and uber eats. I've been in there twice and they seem to always have uber people waiting inside for orders, one of them seemed upset about the amount of time he was waiting and making a little seen while...
