The environment was decent, annoying that 3 Adele songs were on repeat. The 2 stars are just bcos I enjoy Adele but the music could be something other than 3 songs over and over. However the service was the absolute worst I have ever had. I assume it is under new management cos before I was treated wonderfully even when the tables were full of guests. There were 3 other families/couples eating and the server did not check on us once. We tried to wave her down a few times over 15 mins with a polite "excuse me?" It grabbed the other guests attention somehow none of the workers. My families cups were empty and we needed refills. It took one of my family members to go up to the counter to grab her attention. We asked to place a to go order and asked for to go boxes/cups for the pho, yet took quite a while for the boxes to come to the table. From our previous visits the staff would bring us the check and to go food had we ordered anything. This time no one acknowledged us or let us know the food was ready. I would understand poor service if it's lunch or dinner rush but two staff girls were leaning against the counter talking to each other the entire time. The other guests also had to grab their attention...
Read moreThis is not a Vietnamese place and I'm not sure what was Cajun but nothing on the menu. At best this is a cafeteria style teriyaki joint. Our family loves Vietnamese food but were incredibly disappointed by the lack of flavor and not authenticity. No reason for vermicelli bowls to take so long especially since it wasn't a real Vietnamese vermicelli bowl. No flavor to the sauce, it was bagged chopped salad and 3 leaves of cilantro my husbands had a few diakon slivers but mine did not. As a whole no flavor to any of it, there should be atleast some basil! The meat was not cooked the way we have had it at other resturants and was clearly just what they use for teriyaki. Mine was literally a few pieces of teriyaki chicken. The kids got bahn mi and sushi. The sushi wasn't bad but it was a fried roll. The Banh mi again was not traditional and the bread seemed off maybe the sauce. The majority of the food tasted prepacked and from the freezer section. The server was very nice and the place was clean but dated, the religious music was an odd choice for a Saturday night and not our cup of tea. We don't like writing bad reviews but people should know to not expect real...
Read moreIt was good, but nothing to write home about. I ordered the spring rolls. You get 3 large rolls cut in half with peanut sauce. Per roll there is two thin slices of beef and two shrimp halves rolled around a huge handful of noodles. If you like noodle rolls this is good. I prefer actual spring rolls with a mixture of fresh vegetables mint/basil/cilantro and a little noodle. I also ordered the vegetable pho. If you are vegetarian or vegan this is not for you. The vegetable pho is served in beef broth and once again a LOT of noodle and very little vegetable. In regards to the place it's self, the establishment on the inside needs organization and is messy. On the plus side the table was clean. The host who served me laughed when I told him I was dining alone and that I was not interested in a drink since I will be having the soup (of course he brought a drink anyways). The service needs much improvement. However take this review with a grain of salt because this is my opinion of the place. Others my like it and the atmosphere. I do recommend trying Pho King Crab to get your own...
