The location is convenient and it’s a cute little beach you vibe although a little small. We got the combo for 2 which had a seemingly good variety and we mixed the lemon pepper and Cajun sauce with a medium spice level. The sauce was actually really good but not spicy. The odd number of corn (3) doesn’t make sense for a combo for 2 but was cooked well. We got 2-3 legs of each crab a piece and they were ok in size, a little over cooked but decent amount of meat. The mussels were cooked well. Sausage was tasty. Potatoes were good I just don’t think 2 red potatoes is enough for the price. We added 2 eggs for $2 each and those were boiled perfectly. I thought adding rice was great for being able to make the most of the sauce. My biggest issues were that we were never checked on after the food was delivered to the table. I was not able to advise the waitress of the fact that all of the shrimp, which make up the largest part of this boil ( 1 pound, compared to 1/2 pound for the other proteins), we’re so overcooked that they were mushy and inedible. We each tried 1 and couldn’t even swallow it. We paid $80 dollars ($85 with tip) for this meal and left still hungry. When we went up to pay a different waitress cashed us out and asked how everything was and I asked her to let the BOH know that we couldn’t eat the shrimp and all she said was “oh ok, I’ll let them know”. I’m fully aware it was not her fault however, working in service, I hoped for the option of a remake, discount or even an apology.

31 August 2022 - 4 Stars First time here. They tell me they have been open 7 months now. The decor is nice. The menu is big with almost more Mexican food, then seafood. However, most of the Mexican food is seafood based. I was told this stand-alone restaurant is owned by someone who has other Mexican restaurants in Yakima. I had the Wacky House Special today and enjoyed it. The head on shrimp is messy, so was VERY happy they gave me two plastic gloves - could have used a Bib - and have a paper towel on each table. The paper towels were needed. The spice was "there" but not overpowering. I was interested in what their sausage tasted like, so bought a side order of it. It was mild, but going with seafood - I think it was the right spice. Note: I'm not a big spice person. The free chips & salsa was unexpected and very good. I enjoyed the Red Salsa more then the Green Salsa. Again, I'm not a spice guy. TODAY the "market price" for there "Seafood In A Bag" meals ranged from $14 - $68. I will return with my wife and try some crab.

If I could give this place a million stars I would! Overall the best experience we have had in a long time from the customer service to the food! Everything was top notch A++++! We felt very spoiled with our amazing valentines-day dinner and everything they did to make it special. We had been wanting to try this place since they were at their old location but never had the privilege to until last night. Not only were the portions huge but the taste 😋👌🤌🙌🔥 my mouth is watering as I type. Our waitress was very attentive and there's nothing I can say more to emphasize how amazing everything was. Not only was it our first date night without kids, but one we will definitely cherish because it was full of generosity from everyone that did their part to to hook it up with a delicious dessert, beautiful flowers, and entertaining music 🎶 from now on everytime someone ask for recommendation to a good place this is going to be our spot. Super clean and very flavorful place. Thanks again wacky 🦀 looking forward to our next visit 😀

I just want to start this review by saying I was very excited to try this restaurant, I had been looking forward to it for a while after seeing pictures and reviews. It’s disappointing to say this met none of my expectations at all. I got there and was greeted at the door, I waited about 5 mins before being seated. Once we looked over the menu it had been almost 20 minutes and no one had come to our table to ask for our order or drinks. I had to go to the front and ask if we had to place our order at the front or if someone came to our table which they responded and said “I’m sorry I didn’t know someone had not gone over to you yet”. Once we placed our order the drinks came out fast, but we waited 45 minutes before a server came over and told us it would still be an additional 15 minutes before we could get our food and they offered a dessert for the long wait. After we waited the 15 minutes we finally decided to get up and leave after waiting a total of an hour without our food. Within that hour two tables that had got there after us were served their meals, while we were still waiting. The server said the wait was due to door dash orders, and also the sauce we ordered required more prep time than the other tables. I am no one to be impatient but the service we got today was extremely terrible and I would never return. They did give us a voucher if we were willing to return, but that would mean another risk of waiting over an hour to eat again....

If you’re looking for the best seafood experience in Yakima, look no further than Wacky Crab Shack! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly service and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. The food was absolutely incredible—every bite was bursting with flavor, and you can really taste the freshness of the seafood.

I ordered the seafood boil, and it was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had! The crab was perfectly cooked, the shrimp was juicy, and the seasoning was spot on—just the right amount of spice to bring everything together. The garlic butter sauce was to die for, and I couldn’t stop dipping everything in it. The portions were also super generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth.

Beyond the amazing food, the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They checked in, made great recommendations, and created such a great dining experience. It’s clear that Wacky Crab Shack puts a lot of love into their food and customer service.

If you love seafood or just want a delicious meal in Yakima, you HAVE to check this place out. I can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu. Five stars...
