I was here for a soft opening yesterday. I saw the lit open sign and stopped in. My sister went to Miami University and raved about cocky’s other locations because the food reminded her of her old college days filled with bagel sandwiches and Mac and cheese bites. Cocky’s is wonderful and lived up to expectations. The food was awesome and the owner was very charming and fun to talk to while waiting for my order. I ordered the big daddy and the jalapeño cheddar everything bagel sandwich, mac and cheese bites, fries, and the buffalo chicken dip. I went to school in Buffalo, New York and had my fair share of chicken wing dip- I was never a huge blue cheese person so wing dip can be hit or miss. Cocky’s nailed the wing dip- it was a perfect balance of flavors and was not overpowered by that blue cheese funkiness. Best wing dip I’ve had outside of Buffalo. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very bright & cheerful (my favorite part being the "bae goals" neon sign)! They are more like a sandwich, holding the food in the bagel. They make their own bagels and you can tell they are always fresh. Excited for this new addition to the east side....
