Our experience with Jocelyne was very bad. She treated us with no kindness throughout the whole experience. As a server myself for 13 years, I felt as if she was judging us. After ordering waters for the kids, she instructed us that no outside drinks were allowed. We had empty mini soda cans on the table from my sonâs baseball game snack bag. Then after ordering two kids meals for our three kids to share, since they donât eat much, she looked at me rudely saying just the two? At the end of our meal she asked me if I wanted a refill on my drink and I had food in my mouth so I had a delayed responding, and she rudely said theyâre free refills. She didnât smile or say youâre welcome the entire time but seemed to be much friendlier with the older crowd when I observed her serve her tables around us. I ended up getting my horchata Togo with no ice and when I got in the car to drink it is was clearly diluted. It tasted like she mixed it with water so I ended up throwing it out.
As far as the food, the kids and I enjoyed our meals, but my husband ordered a wet chimichanga burrito and there was hardly any sauce on top or carne asada inside. I came a few days before and was served by Kathy and she did a great job but my strawberries on my waffle were very purple and some were red so I didnât feel comfortable eating much of it. The whip cream amount was very little as well. The Potatoes I got were very salty and had hardly had any bell peppers or onions on them. But her service still made the visit enjoyable and I donât like sending my food back personally.
Overall Iâm very disappointed in the service received by Jocelyne and wouldnât recommend her service. The food wasnât as good off mountain as it was off foothill and campus...
Read moreWe have come to this diner a couple of times now and have always had great service. However this past time, I don't know what it was but Rachel our server seemed to not care about our table. She came to take our food order and then we never saw her again until she brought the food. Then we saw her when she brought over the check. She had the nerve to ask us at that moment if we needed anything else, like coffee or refills on our water. I had my empty juice glass sitting there since she took the food order and it never left the table. I couldn't get the attention of anyone else on staff either. There were 4 of them at the front desk standing there talking and laughing to each other and never once looked in the direction of our table. I was waving my arms and saying excuse me and NOTHING! My coffee go cold because I had no creamer and Rachel never came to check if we needed any refills. No one came by to refill any water or coffee. Rachel seemed to have an issue with our table from the moment she came to ask us if we were ready to order. And every time I looked around, she was at the other bar or table top I guess its called talking to other employees and again NEVER looked in our direction. This was a horrendous experience at ANY restaurant. I have tried to contact the GM which doesn't seem to exist and is probably why service sucks now. Every time I have called she isn't there. I wanted to talk to her before posting my review, but since I can't reach her, this will have to suffice. Needless to say this will be my last trip to Brandon's. There are plenty of other diners...
