The first time we went there, they really excelled on the dishes we ordered, plus the service, as I mentioned in my previous review, was nothing short of excellent. For that very reason we returned a second time, but this visit ended in disaster for me. I had a bout with food poisoning that got me running to the bathroom, with very little success at arriving on time. I never suffered from loose stomach as a norm, but this time, thanks to the Inka Peruvian Grill, the same place that I had given glowing reviews, I had 5 days of little sleep, of high degree embarrassment, and countless washing of garments due to a very serious condition. I thank our lucky stars that this food that caused my demise, was not eaten by the other members in our party, for they are older than myself, and it would have definitely caused a serious issue. The point I am trying to make is this one: it does not matter how good a place is at one time, if in a subsequent visit they are going to deliver food that is not properly maintained, it means little how nice are the people, and how good the food was before, for once a person gets seriously sick, with the worst case of diahrrea known to mankind, all bets are off. My loyalty will always be with Google and its community, for if I praise a place that can, and did, deliver bad food even only one time, then I do not deserve to post reviews at all. I wanted to call this place, but knowing that whatever they said at the other end I would never take another chance, I did not. Crapping oneself for 5 days is no easy journey, certainly one I would not wish on any Google members. Sorry, but true. 0 Stars. PS: I ordered a Ceviche and a Seafood Fried Rice, the Ceviche was not fresh but rather frozen pieces, and the juice of citrus tasted below par. The Fried Rice was mediocre and badly made. Either one could have been...

I tend to gear myself towards eating at only 4.5+ rated w/ many review places - if you are like me, sometimes the rating here is Definetly off. Way off. This is a perfect example of this. I'm often in this area visiting family and will pass when I'm on Foothill and have consistently said "I'd like to try that place" - this evening after doing some shopping near by and heading back to where my wife and I stay, I had a place to stop in mind and when my wife happened to remind me, I turned around and decided tonight was the night to try. Nice little place. Dude who helped us was super nice. I decided to get one of the seafood stir fried with tomatoes and onions dishes - gentleman took a few minutes to explain what the difference was and I opted for the one with rice. In additional we shared fried sweet potatoes (nicely fried and seasons, really like the half dollar sized offering vs say a "fry") also had a personal favorite of mine and at any place that offers I buy - yuca fritas. Incredible. Wife had one of the sandwiches, steak. The food was spectacular. Very flavorful and the contracting flavors of the 3 types of seafood + the purple onions + tomatoes and the tasty sauce was spot on. Presentation was great. Place is really a nice little spot. Service was courteous and friendly. Portions were large - wife and I both needed to take some home. The green side sauce that came with the bread was spot on for my personal spice level. I can't even offer any criticism about the visit at all. Glad that tonight was the night. Great way to close out my work week having a nice quiet dinner with my wife while having some really great food in a great...
Read moreVery disappointed when we got our dishes . My daughter ordered Tallarines verdes which she loves to find out they use pesto in their dish which is not authentic. I was going to order a Peruvian tamale but told they were out. They then brought out their Famous Aji green sauce & asked for bread to dip into the sauce & was told they did not serve bread. I was feeling like having Peruvian soup due to the weather and told they had no kind of soups. Strike 3!!! I should have learned my lesson from my last visit I ordered Ceviche mixto and all the scallops & shrimp were frozen. I’ve been here many times & felt it was a one off . After this experience I know it was not and their quality was worsening. Fortunately, we know what an Authentic plate of tallarines verdes tastes and looks like. Unfortunately, folks trying Peruvian for the first time will never know the difference. We will be taking our business elsewhere even if we need to drive a little more. Goodby...
