I came in for a great experience, and I succeeded in that with the help of the lovely staff Kelly, Melanie, and Kiara at the capital one café. They were great and as a group helped me more then they even know! I came in just to use the ATM originally and I liked the fact that they had a pumpkin pie latte. I thought that was interesting I tried it was delicious. The barista Amani made a great latte for me and was very sweet! But the most beneficial portion of my visit was realizing that I do need to look at my budget and spending and they have a great program to help you do that and the ladies here share the program with me, walked me through it step by step, and got me set up with a free money mentor where I get to go over my finances with him for three free zoom sessions! Read moreI came into the Capital One Café in King of Prussia genuinely excited to learn more about the Venture X card, but unfortunately, I left feeling extremely disappointed and disrespected. When I asked Kelly for information about the card, her tone was condescending and judgmental, as if my questions were a burden or like I didn’t deserve the card because I dint travel often. I was just trying to understand the benefits and details, but the way she explained things made me feel small and unintelligent, which should never happen in a place like the cafe. What made the experience even worse was that my friend, who was still in the café after I left, overheard Kelly talking negatively about me to another team member. That level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable. I came in for support and left feeling embarrassed and talked about. They have been completely rude and unhelpful, have told me to buy a plane ticket to fly to the nearest café to verify my identity in person. I cannot access the $153,000 in my account and cannot close on my house because I can’t wire money or get a cashiers Because they won’t verify me. Absolute worst banking service I’ve ever dealt with in my entire life. They are literally holding my money hostage. And at this point, it feels like theft.
