Being objective this place has good bagels, breakfast sandwiches and coffee but the service is poor along with how they prioritize making orders. Do not order online and pickup in the store, there is no point as they prioritize the customer in-store even though they give you a pickup time. This weekend we placed an order online, it told us twenty minutes later as our pickup time. We arrived at said time for a bagel and two breakfast sandwiches. There was no line so when we arrived we went out the cashier and she told us it was not ready but our order was up next. We then proceeded to sit and watch as customer after customer came in, ordered their food, got their order and left. It was so bad we started counting and 15 customers came in ordered and left before we finally said something. At which point they again told me it was up next. It had been 45 mins, 25 mins past my "20 min estimated" so I asked for my money back. A guy, I assume a manager came and instead of apologizing told me that online orders are separate from in store orders and that my order took longer to make because it was a tuna melt. First this is terrible, just apologize for our wait regardless of reason, why are you defending your internal process. I don't care, it's obviously not working right. Second there is no excuse for any customer to wait 45 minutes for three bagels sandwiches. There were multiple customers who came in after us sitting eating tuna melts and pastrami sandwiches while he was saying this so don't BS just say we missed your order. Lastly, salt in the wound, we get the order, leave and get home and they messed up the order and gave us the wrong stuff!! Long story short, I thought ordering online is so you don't have to wait as long when you arrive, why else would you order ahead. If you give a estimated pickup time you need to be somewhat close to that time otherwise your customers are going to be frustrated. If someone is frustrated just say your sorry. Don't oddly tell the patron how your right and there wrong. You set the expectation when you gave me a pickup time don't be mad if I am holding you to that. You weren't even busy. The only person who tried to make it right was the poor cashier who handled herself professionally and apologetically. The manager needs training on how to deal with an upset patron, maybe the cashier...
Read moreBelow is the email I sent to their corporate team last Friday. I still have gotten no response. Great bagels, terrible attitudes.
I'm reaching out to see if I could have the contact information for a representative to discuss an issue that occurred today. This past year I have place 20-30 orders, every Friday, at your King of Prussia location for between 75$-100$ per order for work. This morning was my first poor experience with this location and it makes me revisit coming back in the future. I placed an online order for Pick Up at 9:45AM, I have attached a screenshot of my receipt from today. It was my first time using your online service to perform my order. My request is for each dozen to be bagged separately, as well as a half dozen bagged separately. The point of this is for dropping to different clients, where your business is also marketed. When I arrived at the location I waited until 9:45AM to give Alexis as much time as possible as she was busy, when I walked up at 9:45 my order was not ready and she grabbed the bags to get it ready. Instead of taking the time to complete the order, she took all other line orders and made me wait an additional 5 minutes. After finishing my order I received and it and realized the order was bagged incorrectly. When I approached Alexis I said "this is wrong" and we reviewed the receipt on the bag. She then , with attitude, told me I was wrong and that the order was correct and that just how they do it. I asked her to separate the half dozen for me and she was nice enough to do this. But while she was pulling out the half dozen I requested bagged separately, she decided to mutter to her coworker that I wanted them bagged separately, as if it's a difficult request. The reason I'm reaching out is because this is a routine order, I also work in the restaurant industry and didn't appreciate the way Alexis had an attitude instead of trying to assist and get me out the door. Again, I am just looking to articulate this with someone because there are other local businesses I'd be happy to spend the money in. Thank you...

If you’re on the hunt for the best bagels in Philadelphia or even the top bagels in the US, look no further than Spread Bagelry! This gem specializes in Montreal-style bagels that are fresh, high-quality, and baked to perfection in a traditional wood-fired oven. Don’t miss the chance to watch the bagels baking over woody fire—it’s a mesmerizing sight that adds that authentic smoky flavor you won’t find elsewhere. Spread Bagelry offers all varieties of bagels, from classic plain and everything to sesame, poppy, and more exotic options like activated charcoal or garlic. The quality-to-price ratio is outstanding, with bagels and sandwiches starting at reasonable prices (around $4-15), making it a great value for such premium, handcrafted eats. They have two standout special sauces to elevate your bagel experience: one with serious spices (be careful—it’s intensely hot and packs a punch!), and a ketchup infused with black pepper that’s tasty but might overpower the delicious, subtle taste of the bagels themselves. For the best bites, I highly recommend the Nova Scrambly (a scrumptious scramble with smoked Nova salmon cream cheese, eggs, tomatoes, and onions) and the Philly Steak (a hearty cheesesteak bagel loaded with flavor, Philly-style). Whether you’re a local or visiting, Spread Bagelry delivers an unbeatable bagel experience in Philly. Fresh ingredients, expert baking, and that wood-fired magic make it my top pick—hands down the best in town and quite possibly the country! #BestBagelsInPhilly #SpreadBagelry #WoodFiredBagels #PhiladelphiaBagels #TopBagelsUS #MontrealStyleBagels #NovaScramble #PhillyCheesesteakBagel #FreshBagels...
