Nino's Pizzarama - Willow Grove — Restaurant in Upper Moreland Township

As a guy from upstate NY where pizzas are ruled by wannabes & throned by Mark's & where chicken wings are one of the main meals a day I gotta say. I wish I was the host of man vs food and describe to the entire world how good this food was. Pizza is phenomenal. Just an out of towner passing through & felt the urge to take advantage of the 9.99 large cheese pizza special this Monday til 9pm. Oh its 8:20 & make the call. Pizza with pepperoni & an order of traditional wings with extra blue cheese. 20 minutes only? Okay, grab the goods, and friendly staff. I wasn't that hungry, but as I write this review, its half gone & I'm ready for bed with a full belly after indulgeing in this deliciousness. Pizza was relatively decent, but I ran into a situation where the guy taking my credit card charged me for someone else's order and then charged me again for mine. He tells me that the transaction was voided but I still haven't received credit back. When I called, he told me that "when these things happen, it always takes a few days for people to get their money back" and that people call them all the time when these things happen.

So I guess the lesson of the story is to always pay in cash here. It was just careless and the fact that they still took the prenote and haven't reversed it caused me to have a check bounce.

I'm still annoyed at this and if the pizza weren't just OK, I'd probably go back once I got the money returned to me but the way he said it made it seem like these things...

I ate at Nino’s on Saturday, June 25. I ordered a large sausage pizza and picked up two drinks from the fridge when I arrived at Nino’s. I paid at the restaurant using a credit card.

Upon reviewing my receipt, I saw that I was charged for chicken fingers, a large sausage pizza, and 2 special slices. However, I did not order or receive chicken fingers or 2 special slices. I only received the large sausage pizza with the total being close to $43.

I understand being mistakenly given the wrong order, but I did not receive the chicken fingers or the 2 special slices. Nino’s was not busy when I picked up my pizza, so I don’t understand how the employee working did not see that I was being charged for items I didn’t receive.
