Absolutely was so thankful. So my order was free 10pc and a small purchase of 4pc nuggets. So I pulled up the Wendys app on my phone and had the offer for "free 10 pc nuggets". Sure enough when I went to click on it to upload it asked me if it was for a mobile order or restaurant and I accidentally clicked on 'mobile'. Well once you do that the offer goes away. So I asked Marie who is always really cool... if she could cancel the 10pc...I really felt bad because they already made them. What happened next I didnt expect. Not to take away from their character but thats the way it is...if you dont pay for something you dont get it. Marie handed me the bag and it felt really full. I thought they made a mistake forgetting to take the 10pc order of nuggets out ...Marie leaned over and said Its okay please go online to Wendys and take the survey and tell them how cool we are. She's great! The gentleman next to her was cool too. I think they were both happy to do that. I felt bad when after the mistake happened I was like, "well good grief thats the whole reason I came for lunch today" lol ..I didnt lose my temper Marie could see I was a little frustrated. (I am not the best with phones) either way Im sure the outcome would have been the same. ..all in all. I still have to take the survey and will but wanted to first give them a google review. Go see Marie and the lovely people at Wendys in Utica! Highly Highly Recommend! Not just because I got the free food. if i didnt mess up the upload on my phone Id still love this place because its people like Marie and that man who make the place...
Read moreMy son has severe autism, we used to stop by this Wendy's regularly to buy him a large french fry extra well done, he only eats things well done and crispy due to sensory issues and his autism, and my daughter chicken nuggets.
We were recently told they won't make his fries well done anymore because it "holds up their line" even though we are pulled forward everytime. I've worked for Wendy's for many years and can say we aren't holding up the line by moving forward.
I think it's extremely rude and disrespectful to turn away a customer due to their disability. 9/10 times we were only buying for both kids.
The lady manager we've seen a few times is always rude with an attitude. We've taken his fries back many times to have them redone because she lied and said they were well done but they weren't at all.
The manager Ryan is very friendly and nice, he's the reason why we continued to go to that location for so long. He has exceptional customer service skills and deserves to be in a higher position.
If you eat things a specific way I would not recommend this location. You may also get the wrong order and an attitude going here so...

They hire anybody off the street they not certified and they not qualified. I know everyone needs a job but he leaves have appropriate hygiene. They are very nasty. looking to place the order later tonight with your family and you asked for hot fresh food and you paying your hard earned money that you have worked for to get what you pay for and they won’t even give you the kind of Manory’s that comes with the order and to top it off no straws no barbecue no barbecue sauce or sweet-and-sour sauce. I think we as business owners CEOs we hired the wrong staff to operate our establish man poor job with this establishment. It needs to go to the higher authorities, and you guys need to do a better job at who you hired to run your establishment because this is poor for your company and I hope everyone stop doing business here at this location and if I have anything to do with it, I would never come back here and spend my hard earned money with this...
