I don’t get all the bad reviews of this place. They just opened and have vastly improved since the soft opening. They were upfront about their soft opening, which was a smart business move and obviously meant to help their staff get up and running. Idk who’s expecting 5 star decor and service during a soft opening. I came on opening day (by accident) and have returned a few times since. Everything has improved. They now have lots of seating, lovely decor, a ramen bar, more efficient processes, etc. The staff is friendly and tries their best to be helpful. I’ve only had the donuts, but they are good, not blow you out of the water good, but for mochi donuts in Shelby Twp? I’m very happy, as they are difficult to find. On my last visit, I had some questions about allergens. The employee who helped me did ask their supervisor, and I got some information, but it was kind of vague and noncommittal, and I had to ask several follow-up questions to find out exactly which donuts had that ingredient. I appreciated that the employee helped me, and I’d just suggest that staff have easy access to ingredient lists and be educated on allergens. I’d also recommend rotating flavors more often, but I think that’s a franchise issue, not the individual location’s choice, and they usually have a couple of different flavors to try. It’s a brand new business, still growing and learning, and I’ve always had a pleasant experience there and gotten some tasty mochi donuts. I recommend giving...
Read moreThe people were polite and helpful, the food was interesting and tasted good, the price was not that bad, and the shop was cozy and not crowded. I did not try the ramen, and the boba was ok (hence my 4 stars). Pretty standard, I'd say. Maybe it's good for a begginer to try since the taste is not very strong. But it's not too sweet either, which could be a pro. I liked the hotdogs. It was my first time trying it. I got the crispy ramen half and half, and it was definitely crispy! So good! The mochi donuts were interesting too, and I liked them. Their chewiness is really like mochi, and they have a variety of flavors. They might be less sweet than a regular donut, too. It's hard to tell. I might go back there and try the ramen! They had a lot of...

I recently visited Mochinut in Shelby Township, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The mochi donuts are a must-try—chewy, soft, and bursting with flavor. I tried a couple of them and they did not disappoint. I heard that some of their donut flavors change occasionally so I’m super excited to try more.
I also wanted to test out the new ramen corner they just started. It was a really new and fun experience for me. I got to choose any ramen they provided, add the toppings to my likings and the machine cooked it right in front of me. I’ll be coming back to try more of their options.
On top of all of the good eats, the kind cashier helped me as it was my first time trying...
