This location has switched to automated ordering and they do not accept cash. They still have cash registers at the "human counter." But there is a framed sign stating all orders are to be conducted on the two automated ordering machines mounted on the wall right next to the entry doors.
So while you are ordering, people are entering and leaving with their food right behind you. It was a very weird experience. I was bumped by a door dash person's huge bag. It wasn't his fault, Taco Bell shoved these ordering machines in the most cramped and at the highest traffic point in the entire building.
The kitchen and prep area are still open and in full view of the customers dining in. So it looks really dumb to see employees standing there talking among themselves and just pointing you to the ordering machine, or in one instance, they just pointed to the sign on the counter and didn't say a word to the older lady who simply asked, "can I place my order?"
I worked at that very location during my last year of high school, all I know is our old district manager, Bernie, is probably rolling in his grave right now (if he's passed) at the lack of warmth and sincerity in their customer service.
The don't even hand you your food anymore, they just set the bags on the same shelf as the door dash orders and walk away, while just calling out your name.

Read moreI could give 0 stars I would. My husband placed a mobile order only to get there. And find the Drive-thru closed with a chair for their Christmas party. As well as the lobby. The employees all saw him standing along with other individuals there outside in the cold yet no one opens the door until they are done with their party. Corporate Office should really have set in place not accepting mobile orders if this what they allowed their location to do. After opening the door my husband had to wait additional 15 mins in the drive thru. Another 15 mins to get the order. Then another 15 minutes for the order to be complete because only half of it was ready. A total of 45 mins for PAID MOBILE ORDER AHEAD. In addition the Distric or Regional matter can't take time to address the issue and forwards it to the store managers. Who simply states sorry let's buy lunch.
