Besides the lack of basic communication and understanding, ability to compute basic math was lagging. To add insult to injury the trip the afternoon prior was horrible as well ...I drove back n forth between the speakers yelling and honking and no response. The drive thru got so backed up and before I allowed myself to get emotionally agitated I decided to roll up to the 1st window to place my order where I'm NOT met with an apology but instead an excuse and THEN instead of taking my order IMMEDIATELY she closed the window and got a replacement headset and CLEARLY WAS ATTEMPTING TO MULTITASK by taking my order and trying to catch up on the drive thru at the same time by how many times I had to repeat myself THEN I HAD TO ARGUE WITH THE 2ND WINDOW FOR MISSING ITEMS when they told me I had to GO BACK THROUGH THE DRIVE THRU AND ORDER THEM BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T CHARGE ME!! Nope!! That's not my fault she wasn't paying attention. Give me my food and tarter sauce. Finally, WITH AN ATTITUDE AND LIKE HE WAS DOING ME A FAVOR the girl was instructed to "just go ahead and give it to her"....what ever happened to the customer being right? So that happened....and I STILL went back for breakfast the next morning. Why!!! Because I'm a glutton for punishment. I won't insult their staff but they need to get it together. I had to break down my question waaaaay too many times before she got it then it took FOREVER for her to get my order right on the screen. I was feeding 3 people. First I ordered 3 hash browns and 3 sausage egg and cheese McMuffins. Then I asked for a unsweetened tea. When I thought about it I actually ordered a meal!! So I SIMPLY ASKED.......DOES IT COST LESS TO ORDER A MEAL SINCE I JUST ADDED A DRINK? I told her I'm feeding 3 people already she heard my twins ok! She said so all you want is a meal. I said no I'm asking a question about cost difference. She said I don't get it. What do you want? Do you still need the other sandwiches? After a few minutes I told her NEVERMIND PUT EVERYTHING ON THE SCREEN AND I WILL FIGURE IT OUT WHAT IM GOING TO KEEP!! Then she wanna get braniac and get the order somewhat right saving me $4!!! Only error was she forgot NO ICE so they had to remake my tea at the...
Read moreWhenI first came in to the restaurant there was an employee standing around so I should’ve known that it was gonna be an experience. The drive thru was busy so I decided to go in and order. Ordered something for a relative and I was debating on whether I wanted to order again but usually when I order at most McDonald’s it doesn’t take that long but I was wrong this time. I placed another order through mobile app and I had already got my first order so I waited another 20-25 mins and my order is visible on the screen and after about 10-15 mins my order cleared but I didn’t receive my order so it’s already hit and my ride is waiting for me. That person came in and asked was everything ok I wasn’t even bothered until one of the young women in the back got smart about it as if she didn’t wanna take accountability for the mistake she made and then the person that was my driver told me how someone in the drive thru was eyeballing him after he came in and stood up for me. They still didn’t make my order when I mentioned it and after waiting another 10-15 mins I was asked again did I get my order in which I replied no and then the front clerk asked them again did they have what I ordered and then that’s when she put it in the bag. I just wanna know why they couldn’t make my order, they still made everybody else’s order before mine even people that came in after me were getting their order and I took that personally because I wasn’t rude I wasn’t confrontational or disrespectful about it but I feel like they still somehow blamed me for not saying anything and when I did they still took their time to make the order over and probably wasn’t even gonna make it until I was asked about it again. There was like 7-10 workers back there but nobody cared to correct my order I don’t understand. I’ve never had this issue with the one on St. Augustine even with little to not many employees they’re still making an effort to get the job done and even with DoorDash at this location it’s the same thing where it’s a long wait to pickup food but I definitely won’t be back to...
Read moreI recently had an extremely disappointing experience at McDonald’s. I noticed a group of employees laughing and running, which caught my attention. To my shock, I realized they were reacting to a roach scurrying on the ground. While the manager or supervisor did politely address the situation by killing the roach and covering it with a trash can, it was alarming to witness.
Additionally, I was appalled to see a young employee pouring ice into the water fountain in an unsafe and unsanitary manner. To make matters worse, she placed her shoes on the counter! This kind of behavior not only reflects a serious lack of training but also poses significant health risks. If she had failed in her attempt, McDonald’s could easily have found themselves facing a lawsuit.
It’s understandable that many of the workers are young high school students, but it’s evident that they aren’t receiving proper training. The soda fountain was in dire need of a deep cleaning, and if roaches are running around, it’s clear that cleanliness isn’t a top priority here. McDonald’s has been in the industry for so many years, and perhaps they believe their success is guaranteed, but incidents like this show a lack of care for their customers.
Unfortunately, this is the third time I’ve had a bad experience at McDonald’s in Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. As a result, you’ve lost me as a customer. It’s disappointing to see such unethical and unsafe practices at a place that should...
