If I could give a 1/2 of a star, I would. This place is absolutely horrible at cake orders. This is the 2nd year in a row that I have placed a cake order and it was not ready when I got there to pick it up. The 1st time was for Mother's Day 2018. The 2nd time was today January 16, 2019. I place the cake order 3 days prior on Sunday January 13th, I was supposed to pick the cake up on Wednesday January 16th at 1:00 p.m.. I showed up at 3:37 p.m. on the 16th, and the cake had not been written on yet. The manager, so he says he is, try to explain that he tried calling me twice because the writing wasn't correct…??? I don't know what he means by that. The writing on the cake was very simple, "Happy 70th Birthday Nana". I did look to see if I had missed calls, and sure enough I did… at 12:44 p.m. he was just calling to try and find out about this cake order, mind you the pick up time was 1:00 p.m. He claimed not to be proficient in doing the writing on the cake, and had the nerve to ask if i wanted to wait until 4 pm for the person who could do it arrived. Then to further add insult to injury, the young lady who took the order didn't even put that the order had been paid for, so if I had not have had my receipt with me I would have ended up having to pay again. This place is unbelievable, and I definitely will never order another custom cake from them on top of that I will advise that no one I know ever place a custom cake order with them. In with his offers of a free birthday candle Khama and his offers of some free ice cream… to which I declined both comet that does not make up for them ruining the 70th birthday cake...

Got a Mud Pie Mojo. Customer service is very kind and sweet but they forgot to ask if I wanted mix-ins, a separate waffle cone/bowl, or any other customizations. My mom wasn't asked about mix in options, sauces to top with, or flavor accommodations. She wanted to mix two flavors but the woman asking her had her voice muffled with the mask. It's hard to speak with a mask so we must speak louder. Excellent product though - the ice cream in the midst of a pandemic summer is why I came. But, for immigrants and those hard of hearing, it can be difficult to hear. Other than that, my visit was a good one. Beware: social distancing is impossible inside as there were just too many customers. Many were NOT wearing masks, including one mother and her toddler daughter. So come in at your own risk. I ordered a cake one week ahead of time. Pick up time on the receipt said 12 pm. Around 11:30 she called me to let me know they did not have green dye for the frosting. She let me know the manager was going to bring the dye later. I asked around what time ? She said I don't know, the manager lives far, I let them know it was fine to use white frosting. When I picked it up it was plain white with a few spots where you can see the cake. I asked her to fix it. Which she did. I also confirmed the flavor and she said yes.When it was time to cut the cake , it had oreo ice cream and vanilla . I had asked for cheesecake. Never ordering from here again.
