Panera Bread — Restaurant in Vallejo

It was very clean, pleasant decor, promo friendly and efficient, but....the sign board over the pickup window toellls the story. A stenciled blurb about the proteins, written to lull the reader into a belief that the proteins might be other than factory raised, talking about the proteins being fed a diet consisting of organic material, as if anyone feeds herbivores anything else? But no discussion of grass or range fed, no discussion of non GMO feed, no discussion of antibiotics and hormones. And a similar blurb trying to invoke an image of farm to table by discussing vegetables being harvested at the farm and delivered to the company. Well where do you think vegetables come from? And again, no discussion of non GMO, no discussion of FDA certified organic, no discussion of processing, storage and shipping. At the end of all that, the food was unsurprisingly mediocre. The bread was no better that that at Subway. The cheese was a lump at the bottom of the lackluster onion soup. The meats were highly processed and no better than Quiznos. So a better alternative than McDonalds but no better that other sandwich chains and only fit for on the road with no great...

Definitely do not recommend visiting this location close to the end of the night. With this location advertised as being open until 9pm, I figured it would be acceptable to visit for dinner at 8pm after a long day at work. When I arrived they stated they were only able to serve soup and salads, which isn’t really a problem I can usually make that work, until I went to order soup, and it seemed that this wasn’t really an option either, as every time I tried to order something, they started they maybe had a cup of soup left, which led me to believe they were scraping it from the bottom of the container, and became a fairly frustrating back and forth. I’m not sure if this locations hours are incorrectly stated and I just showed up right as they were closing, or if it’s standard for a restaurant to stop serving most of the menu an hour before closing, but would have loved if menu availability had been more clearly stated upon arrival so I could have come to the conclusion sooner, that if I wanted fresh food, that I needed to go...

Goodmorning, I got a sandwich last night, a Mediterranean veggie sandwich (half). After 2 to 3 bites into the sandwich, It started tasting wierd, very wierd, like wasabi x4 bad, and the 3rd bite into the wierd section of the sandwich I spit it back out because it’s something I never had in my taste buds before but somewhat similar to wasabi but much worse. Now I woke up today with the worst pain in my stomach, I think I still have the spitted out food in my car I will take it to a lab to get it tested. I think they put something in my sandwich, and I think it’s because I took about 5 minutes in the drive thru because I couldn’t decide what to get to eat, maybe it got them upset, there was none behind me so I felt ok to take my time. Anyways. I ABSOLUTELY HATED THE SANDWICH AND I HOPE WHOEVER WAS INVOLVED IN THIS GETS FIRED ASAP BECAUSE...
