I've managed retail and restaurants for 15+ years, have eaten at Michelin star restaurants to cheap fast food restaurants to everything in between. However, the service Tre provided was the best I've EVER experienced anywhere in the world.
Tre was personable the second we stepped foot in here. He shared his passion for food and took pride knowing that everything from their simplest donut to the gourmet ones were made in house in the kitchen.
He gave us undivided attention and when it came to the burgers, he explained each one with so much care that I almost wanted to order everything.
What's even more important is that he checked to see if any of us had allergies and ensured that nothing came into contact with these items and shared which of the ice cream we should avoid for the allergies.
We placed our order and Tre became Chef Tre and made the food as well. You could see the passion when he was cooking and he shared how someone in his family is a gourmet chef and that's why he takes so much pride into the fine details. The food was so fresh. I usually fall into a food coma when eating a burger, but not this time. After our three hour drive home, we were STILL talking about this experience.
We came to this place because it was the only place open late and we were expecting basic service, but Tre really blew this experience out of the water. We got there late and it got busy after we ordered so he expressed that we were his guests and that he wants us to be able to finish our food and that he wouldn't boot us out.
I hope the owners of this place know how valuable Tre is. I would give this place a 15 star review just on Tre's service alone, but leaving three separate 5 star reviews as the same person would probably discredit my review.
Tre, we hope you're enjoying Delicious In Dungeon!...
Read moreThis place is very close to where I live, so it's easy for my family and me to stop by and get something to eat. They have a decent selection of quick savory foods, the greasy kinds, like burgers, fries, onion rings, and philly cheesesteaks. Their potatoes are pretty tasty and not overly salty, but the sandwiches themselves could be better. They are cheap and fast, though.
Surprisingly, they have a varied selection of ice cream. Not too many places have spumoni flavor, but they do, and that's what I get every time. Of course, their specialty is their doughnuts. Now, I'm not a huge doughnut fan in general, but they do have tasty ones. Good donut holes. You can tell that they've been made fresh, and they're also sold at good prices.
The interior of the restaurant is a bit shabby and simple. They've been open for at least a couple of years now, but the exhaust is bad and I leave smelling like fried foods every time. It is clean, though. Better yet, service has always been great. Everyone working here is always nice and tries their best to get orders out quickly, even if they are new and confused. Overall, I'd...
Read moreAm I going to the same place all these reviewers are giving 4 to 5 stars? My second time there with only one employee and at least 6 to8 people waiting to be helped. I heave been there several times and the people working there are very nice and friendly however the fact that the owner staffs 1 person the last two times I have been there is unacceptable. The maple bars are good and a couple other donuts are good but really they are just a step above Fred Meyers terrible donuts. The donuts are overpriced and the fact the owner(s) seems to care less about the service or their poor overworked lonely staff members makes me to never want to go there again. In conclusions a couple donuts good the rest mediocre to poor and the terrible service(due to the owners lack of staffing) makes this place a 1 to 2 star. Ifyou are reading Mr/Ms. owner think a little more of your staff and your customers I saw another person walk out today besides myself. It's your business do what you want and pay the...
