What a great addition to Vancouver, Washington! Bula Kava is a Kava house that serves fresh squeezed juices, kava, kombucha, tea, smoothies, immunity shots, and açaí bowls. There is a relaxed atmosphere that you feel the second you walk in. I’m new to kava and have many questions. The staff persons have been nothing but patient and kind in answering them. I heard a lot of the term “no problem” when I was engaged with them. The açaí bowls are, in my opinion, the best in Vancouver. You can build your own with a choice of three bases: açaí, açaí w/dragon fruit, and dragon fruit. Building your own bowl starts at $9.99. They’re pretty big. So far, it’s the best price in the area as well. The kava is served in some sort of bowl that looks like half a coconut only bigger. Bula Kava is not loud or abrasive in any way—it’s 100% chill and my new go to escape during the work day. Some times there may be a bit of a wait as they can get busy and might only have one staff person present (that’s how it looks anyway). It’s a great place worth a visit if you’re into healthy.

Good healthy drink, Kava. But not real friendly here. Ask about things and the staff person looks at you weird. I didn't say or ask anything provocative, just tell me about the drink and how to order. She was so serious and clinical. Not a happy place on this first visit. I live 3 blocks away - would think she might want to make regular customers.

The kava tea is earthy and strong. Try it with an open mind. It's worth drinking for the relaxing feeling. The acai bowl was delicious and it paired well with the kava tea. The vibe of Kava House is definitely relaxing and chill, too. You can sip tea, hang out, listen to the chill music and just unwind. I loved the whole experience.

This place is UHmazing. I went in looking a small glass of kava just to try, and the lady behind the counter instructed me to drink at least 8 oz and so I did. She was like a kava genius, totally blew my mind. At the very end she said I recommend you chug it, and I did just that and oh holy mother of goddess. I'm glad she told me that because I was just going to sip it. I felt so fire🔥 amazing. I drank it just past 11am and I was just cruising around bed time. What a wonderful experience. Super friendly, great atmosphere. Such a positive...

One of my fave places to go in downtown. Great chill atmosphere, very environmentally conscious and health conscious. If you have a sensitive immune system, are feeling blah, or just need a healthy place to grab a smoothie or similar without the ridiculous costs, this is the place to go. Their kava is also incredible quality and they honor and respect the history and traditions and medicinal values of kava. Prices are great. Service is always kind and...
