Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Vancouver

I hate leaving bad reviews on places I like to eat at, and it should be known the only reason I'm leaving this review is because I have had back yo back bad experiences with this Jimmy John's. The first time the driver simply left my delivery at my door and left no inclination that it had been delivered after being expressly asked to do so... fine mistake I'm good with that. Today however I ordered my sandwich at 1:38pm I called at 2pm because I hadn't received any notification that it had been made or left the store. I called the store and the guy told me it must be a glitch because the sandwich was out already. So then I'm surprised when at 2:08pm I receive a notification that it just left the store. Finally, at 2:34pm I'm annoyed enough to call again as I still haven't received my order and there was no delivery notification. The person who answers the phone promptly says "hold please" and then sets the phone down. After waiting on hold for 6 minutes I hang up and call back getting the same gent from the first call. This time he admits the order must have been delivered to the wrong spot. To his credit he offered me a free side but honestly I just want my sandwich in under an hour. Came into the store to get a sandwich and they are out of turkey lame but no big deal and not the employees fault . Got a ham sandwich instead with double meat and I asked and made sure they knew to not put tomato’s on the sandwich about 3 times before asking one more time as they were handing it to me which they replied of course not . Sandwich had 2 slices of ham and tomato’s all over it 🤷🏻‍♂️. Emt supervisor was behind me who had put in an order an hour prior and they did not have it done for him and he had to go on a call so he was very not happy . This store has a sign on the door about how the whole world is short staffed and to make sure and be nice because of it but at what point can some accountability be taken . This was not a busy store maybe 3 people inside .It is as if the sign is a warning that mistakes will be made regularly and to expect that there will be problems with your food . I am very disappointed in Jimmy John's. Not only did it take over 40 min to deliver less then a mile away (freaky fast??? -i could of made food at home and eaten it faster) Also, the bread was soggy on all 4 sandwiches, we asked for reg yellow mustard on a sandwich for my young son and he got grey poupon and refused to eat it. My #12 had no cucumbers on it even though it comes with them, we asked for mayo and mustard packets on the side as well, yet received none. I got a total of 6 items and literally, only (1) napkin in the torn all the way down the bag that was delivered. Overall horrible review and it really only takes a bad experience to not go back again. The hazeldell location is surrounded by a ridiculous amount of other options for dinner that don't disappoint, so it's quite easy to not have to order...
