Venice Locale — Restaurant in Venice

I came in around Christmas looking for a unique gift for my cousin who is hard to shop for. There were so many things to look at that it took me over an hour to finally decide. I settled on a ceramic mosiac of our great state of Florida mounted to some rustic wood with two hangers. He absolutely loved it! It was a huge hit. I also purchased a great coffee mug for my mother. Love this place! What a gem. I was so happy I found it and only wish I had more time to shop and chat with the owners. Everything about this place is unique and wonderful, made our trip to Venice Beach Florida even more special. I bought some unique and beautiful gifts and will be back as soon as I can to buy more. I was in the shop one day and they were making resin boards in the back. I was able to watch and learn about this beautiful technique. Eventually I was able to have Alma show me how to do it myself. I was really nervous. But she gave me the confidence to play and have a great time. I Highly recommend taking a class or just stopping in to shop the many local artists pieces to take home. Nothing beats supporting your local people! So grateful to have a place like this...
