As escape room enthusiast we can always have a great time in a room. When we went down to the room, the hostess ran through their spiel so fast, that we could hardly understand them, and it mostly sounded like mumbling. We already know what to expect, so it wasn’t a big deal, but for people new to escape rooms, it would have been difficult to know what the expectations were.
We played the 7 Deadly Sins room. For the most part this room was well laid out. There was some disconnect with a series of clues. Also, the room name didn’t really have anything to do with the room except for one clue.
We were mostly frustrated that there wasn’t any way to communicate with the game master. Unlike in other escape room locations, where the game master was able to listen to you and respond, no one seems to be listening when we asked a question repeatedly over a few minutes. We finally pressed the clue button to get their attention (we didn’t need a clue) but got a clue and no assistance to our question. Maybe they were understaffed? The monitor timer also stoped working at one point. We noticed it wasn’t moving, and once we got the game masters attention, it came back on and it jumped over 10 min. So for a while we didn’t have an accurate sense of how long we been working without it.

Read moreI haven't even been to this location yet and the level of professionalism here is very disappointing. I was looking to come here during a visit with family in the area as I thought it would be a fun activity, however I had some questions I needed answered as I couldn't find any info on the website. I tried calling on 5 separate occasions over the course of 2 days about a week ago ( twice on Thursday July 11th and three times on Friday July 12th), during your operating hours and leaving at least 15 minutes between attempts. When someone finally answered on my 5th attempt, I was greeted with a simple "Hello?" and no other professional information like location name or the name of the person I was speaking to. I asked about the age policy, and the person gave me an answer of what they thought it was and did not seem sure of their answer at all.
I work at another Escapology location and am aware of how we are supposed to operate, and I was just very disappointed. I completely understand if you guys were busy and didn't answer my call once, but 4 unanswered calls is a problem, and if I was asked a question that I did not know the answer to I would ask a coworker or supervisor to confirm my answer so I can ensure the correct information is given to customers, especially for an activity as...
Read moreDon't waste your time or money here. We have been to several escape rooms and this was by far our worst experience. Go to escape in time instead! When we arrived we were told that they had been having technical issues all day. Because of this the team seemed frazzled. After check-in we were left in the waiting room 10 minutes over our start time. When we were finally taken to our room we were given incomplete instructions and absolutely no background on what we were doing in the room. The tv wasnt working, the countdown wasnt working, we were handed walkie talkies. I would've preferred if they had closed for the night and refunded our money in all honesty. Additionally, becuase of what seemed to be a staffing issue, there was no real game master. When we would push for hints no one was there to give us one or knew what we had or had not accomplished. They did add a few minutes at one point and acknowledged they had missed the hint request (there were technical issues). They did apologize, but for the amount of $$ we spent its just not ok.
