Never got the massive hype when Krispy Kreme Doughnuts was at it's peak (early-mid aughts) but that's simply because I hadn't yet tried their products. And after I'd finally gotten around to doing so, while I certainly DID get it & LIKED them, until recently, I'd never actually went out and bought any..... until recently. Happened upon their site a few months back, when researching reviews for nearby doughnut shops, as the wife & kids had a craving & asked if I could go pick up a dozen somewhere. Saw they had a promotion/sale, so decided to take advantage. Wound up registering for their "Rewards Program", as well, I downloading the app. I appreciate a good offer/sale & Krispy Kreme does not disappoint, in their frequent offerings. I've only ever purchased from my local Victorville, CA location & can't see going anywhere else. The place is ALWAYS SPOTLESS/CLEAN, the staff is ALWAYS helpful, courteous & fast at tending to customers & helping us get on our way. Given the current pandemic/COVID situation, I also (VERY MUCH) appreciate the safety protocols they have set in place (as well, the prevalent signage they have displayed) which, imho, clearly demonstrates their awareness/mindfulness and commitment to doing their part in protecting both, their customers and staff, (which, to me, is of MASSIVE importance). While I, PERSONALLY, feel said protocols to be effective, by comparison, their not as intrusive nor as limiting (and thus, inconvenient) as other businesses (such as my bank, who's name I'll not specifically reference, but I feel has gone overboard in their practices/implemented protocols, to the point that, in addition to making it nearly impossible for me to actually visit during -new, limited - business hours....and, even on the rare occasion I am able, I simply don't want to as, between the RIDICULOUSNESS of said protocols, the fact that ANY/ALL transactions I need to see a teller for tend to take FOR-E-VER and the fact that I feel like I'm actually put at a significantly higher risk of exposure, while lined up with ALL of the other customers like cattle for what is ALWAYS an obscenely EXTENDED period of time.....but, that's just mho & because of that, my hat's off to Krispy Kreme for their more accessible, but equally - if not BETTER - approach to limiting the spread of COVID). So, a DEFINITE 5 STARS to my local Victorville, CA Krispy...
Read moreToday I went in to buy Dough-Notes boxes one for my god babies house and one for my grand babies house. Stood in line for out 10-15 mins at about 7:30 this morning. No problem with that. Here is where I get frustrated, when it becomes my turn I let her know what I would like to order and she tells me they are out. Huh????? She said it will be a 10-15 min. Wait for them to make more. It is Valentine’s Day and you out. Okay no problem but why not tell the people that are waiting in line that you are out and so we have the option to keep waiting or to leave and go elsewhere. So I see that they have multiple trays of pink heart donuts while I was walking away. I asked the more seasoned (older) lady can’t you just make it a full box of the pink hearts and she told me that would be almost $33 cause they would charge me for each one due to them trying to make it last through out the day. I just shook my head and walked away. This is definitely a training opportunity for customer service. You have advised on tv, emails so on and so for this valentine box/donut. Manger under estimated the demand so was not prepared properly. The one thing she could have done was communicate with the multiple people waiting in line to order that they was out and how long it would take to make more. Something so simple could have made a frustrating experience...
Read moreUpdate - The donuts are so good especially when fresh off the line. Maggie is awesome as usual and should be in charge of teaching customer service to everyone or be the manager. She is just awesome. Update. If you want to learn the meaning of great customer service, come here. Maggie is just another one of the incredible team members. She took great care of me and made my day as i am having hand issues. I'm not sure which is better, the donuts or the service. These are the best donuts. Yes, better then Dunkin. These are so good and melt in your mouth. Love the apple fritters. Miss the blueberry fritters. Suggestion would be a cherry fritters. Now the service. Maggie and Brianna are just awesome. They are always so nice and treat their customers so we'll. These two are employees of the year. Had two rude customers, and both of them were so nice to me and handled it perfectly. Thank you so much. Update Danielle was so nice, and Jacqueline the mgr was nice as well. And of course, the red...
