Rarely do I ever leave reviews on dining establishments, yet alone a bad review.

I gave the place 2 stars because the experience started out okay, we were sat right away and the young lady brought me a high chair for my baby very promptly.

After I had mentioned that I wanted to do the AYCE and my husband was ordering off the regular menu, things kind of started to go downhill.

When I tried to give my order to an older lady she basically told me I was ordering too much by saying "you're going to be able to finish those 4 rolls??" And I replied, "yes".

Seems as though she took it upon herself to tell the sushi chef to hold off on a couple rolls, I was delivered one roll for myself and the avocado roll for my baby. Finished my roll. Maybe 12-15 mins pass as I'm sitting there waiting and the app I ordered finally comes out. Then another roll. As I'm finishing up my last roll, I was already done with being there and not receiving my initial order in a timely manner, the sushi chef comes over and asks if I'm ready for the last roll. Hence, why I think they took it upon themselves to see if I can finish my food. The AYCE is is close to $30 ($27 to be exact) for one person and yet they are concerned that I ordered 4 rolls (one being for my baby).

The experience was awful. I did not feel like a paying customer should feel when walking into ANY establishment.

Also, I had to wave down a server for a second beer for my husband after he was sitting with an empty mug for a few minutes and no one came by to see if he needed a refill. My water glass was empty and I had to flag someone down for more water. With 3 servers on the floor and maybe about 5 tables in the restaurant, I cant think of any reason why beverages wouldn't stay refilled without having to flag someone down.

Came here with a group of about 15 including a few kiddos. The staff was so friendly & accomodating even though we dropped by unexpectedly in honor of a loved one (her favorite sushi place). Service was fast & the food that came out was delicious. Ordered only rolls from the $25.95 AYCE (Fri-Sun, Dinner serving all day, three rounds). Their lunch AYCE is $21.95 (Mon-Thurs). Figured either way you spend the same amount if you order two rolls (range between $9-$14) but at least you get a choice about what you want & boy did we choose. Unfortunately, our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs - we got TKOd on round two, never made it to round three! You cannot go wrong with the Lobster roll, OMG roll, & Crunch roll. Lobster roll has small pieces of deep-fried lobster & jalapeños on top of Cali rolls (I think). The OMG roll is a melt in your mouth roll with a layer of sashimi & drenched in a sweet & spicy sauce that is amazing. The Philadelphia roll (I did not try this) & basic Cali rolls are as good as expected. Spicy tuna rolls were really good along with the other rolls I cannot remember the names of. Highly recommend this place in the high desert. If we make it back up, we are going back for another round. There is so much to choose from. Went there a year or two ago. The Place was filthy dirty and the restaurant was infested with fruit flies. Went there 4/11/2015 to give it another shot. BIGGEST MISTAKE!!! Please remember that it was 5 pm and only 4 tables seated and served when my party of 3 arrived. The only thing that changed was they took care of the flies! Service was horrible. Place it still filthy. Had dried soy sauce on the walls. The tables were old and falling apart. Big chips in the tables. The dishes were the same. Big chips in them also. The beer was the hottest beer ever received at any restaurant in the high desert. When we received the Miso soup it was just both that was day old, lukewarm and separating. The soy beans had a sour taste. Was there for over 30 minuets still not even served our appetizer, and no other guest have come into the restaurant. The waitress finally came to our table to check on us since serving us our drinks and soup stating that our food would been done shortly. I asked does it normally take this long for an order to be completed. She stated that they where busy. There were ONLY 3 other tables seated at this time. All severed when we sat down. Left with out even eating!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS RAN DOWN HOLE IN THE WALL. THE OWNERS AND EMPLOYEES HAVE NO PRIDE IN THEIR ESTABLISHMENT!...
