Mimi's Cafe — Restaurant in Victorville

Floors had pieces of paper on them...they need to invest in pushvacs..went there with a big group...kids ordered kids meals and us adults ordered our meals...my particular order was a mushroom burger melt..fries were Luke warm and serving Size was borderline insulting..(ive gotten more fries in a small oder of fries from mcdonalds...so yea paying close to 20 for my meal i wasnt happy.)..looked like a one year old took a handfull of fries and threw them on my plate....kids serving size of fries was not impressive either..(i remember thinking wow theyre stingy. Everyone knows in resturant inductry that one serving of fries can pay for the whole bag )..WERE NOT HOT AND FRESH TBH SEEMED LIKE THEY SAT ON THE PLATE FOR A WHILE BEFORE THEY WERE SERVED TO ME... definatly not following food safety protocolby serving luke warm fries......my melt I asked for well done was well well well done..if i wanted a hamburger jerky id ask if it was on the menu.....was told i should of asked for it medium well....no maybe your cooks need retraining...well done does not mean hockey puck....was not a melt at all. The bread was half lightly toasted and the other parts barely toasted.... Had to put lots of ketchup on it to get it down...

Prices were very high for the lack of portion sizes and quality of food..LOOKS LIKE A FANCY PLACE BUT AFTER THE EXPERIENCE ID SAY JUST AN OVERPRICED DINER.....excessive wait times as well..for everything. From taking the orders to getting the drinks to refills etc...wasn't even a full house so I don't know what was taking so long...(now i guess i know why there wasnt a full house)..deserts were decent...ps called to express my displeasure...was lectured and told I'd get a call back but I did not... WILL NOT GO AGAIN....honest advice go somewhere else. ...

This Morning I placed a breakfast order through Door Dash. One of the items ordered was a Bacon Avocado Omelet. In the special instructions area, I requested extra cheese, no potatoes, fruit or tomatoes instead.

I received a phone call around or about 8:35 a.m. on December 31, 2021 from a female working at Mimi’s . She asked that I cancel my order; then re-enter it and add my request for extra cheese in the “Choose your add on section “ area. This is so that I could be charged the 99 cent for the extra cheese.

I shared with her I have no problem paying 99 cent for cheese, however there is no “Choose your Add on option”

She proceeded to tell me “yes” there is. She further stated that she was looking at an order the had it from Uber Eats…I shared ,that may be the case, however Door Dash does not have that option. I ended up telling her just don’t add the extra cheese. She them informed me, I did not have to be rude. She then hung the phone up in my face.

As it turned out, I verified Uber Eats, does in fact have the option. However Door Dash does not.

Suggestion, you may want to provide training to your staff regarding the differences between Uber Eats and Door Dash Options. This will prevent your staff from adamantly providing inaccurate information to your customers. You may also want to provide a refresher course addressing customer satisfaction and proper...

We were quoted up to an hour to be sat. We decided to wait. That was a mistake after an hour we checked with the hostess to be told there were just two people ahead of us and it would only be a few more minutes. After another half hour we checked and they had skipped us over and said we would be sat as soon as a table opens. At two hours after watching others be sat they said they did not see us on the list because we were now so far up the list.

Upon complaining to a manager and finally being sat at two and a half hours later we were rewarded with a dirty table complete with dirty stained menus.

We asked for bread and it was brought out but without plates. The waitress said they were running low on bread plates and cups... Go figure... Who needs dishes to run a restaurant.

Thankfully we we're not sat at one of the folding tables complete with folding chairs. Several groups were sat at the folding table near us and promptly left.

Once the food arrived it was mediocre at best. The Eggs Benedict was over cooked and the hollandaise sauce was underwhelming resulting in a dry and lackluster entree.

The only highlight was a friendly waitress but overall this was a dining experience I would not...
